This professor had boring lectures, he went off topic a lot, he never taught during his lectures which made his tests hard. Midterms were 50 questions, the final was 100 questions.

Had a 4.0 prior to my last semester of 2nd year. This class ruined everything for my major application . First of all, it was supposed to be an actual physical class which I remember signing up for. It was all online! I have taken numerous online classes before and this one is by far THE worst. Professor does not communicate clearly. DO NOT TAKE.

Attending class is a total wast of time. I was one of the like 7 people who showed up everyday and received nothing for it. His tests are hardly over lecture material, and he spends most of the class time going over life stories or reading off the power point. Every Friday he just sits and chats with the class instead of teaches. Hes nice though

If you like homework everyday, no way to ask questions in class over hard material because its only offered online, multiple tests that are all comprehensive over up to 15+ chapters with no test reviews & very hard tests & waste money on a class where the professor does absolutely nothing and makes money off of well then this is the class for you.

His lectures are dry and useless. Taught about the history of VW Beetles and oil lamps instead of macroeconomics, but his tests are deceptively difficult. Other than what I've learned about VW Beetles and oil, I haven't learned anything in his class. Attendance is "mandatory" in that he passes around a sign in sheet daily.

Prof bishop explains economics in a way that everyone can understand. His lectures are clear (though he can get off track) and assignments are easy. Tests can be tough, but if you study youll be fine. Nice guy

This is one of the WORST professors i've ever had at TXST. His lectures are PAINFUL to sit through and he does not give you the materials you need to do well on the exams. He posts practice questions but they do not help whatsoever. Should have been an easy A class but he made it impossible to do that. DO NOT TAKE HIM!

In the online quizzes, he gave feedback for each answer by explaining more broadly WHY your answer is right or wrong. The detailed feedback helped me learn from my mistakes and guided my thinking in the right direction. I really appreciated the time/effort he put into creating these quizzes. I hope he still uses this method. I would recommend him

His lectures are powerpoint based and you can easily lose focus because he doesn't fluctuate a lot in his voice. But try not to be on your phone, you can see it hurts his feeling because he knows his lectures are long.

The entire class is online except for the 5 exams. He only takes 4 exam grades so it's nice the final can be optional. Make sure you have time to spend each week because there are usually multiple videos and quizzes due (about one quiz a day for 3-5 days). The exams are difficult because they're all comprehensive. Do the hw. Extra credit lifesaver.

Okay, the class as a whole isn't awful, so long as you have time for like 5 quizzes and week, mind numbing videos and exams that literally had the entire class trying to figure out how to study. His idea of a review is review the entire courses worth of quizzes and videos and even that barely afforded decent grades. Extra credit will save your life

Professor Bishop is a sweet guy & I would take his class again. I find economics quite boring but he does relate it to real-world situations in the economy which made lectures more interesting. You have homework on connect and then he provides great material on his website to study with for the tests. Just put effort into it and you'll do good

If you are good at memorizing 100plus things Take him! other than that the class is pretty boring. Assignments were easy. He is pretty nice, easy to talk to and helps you with what ever you need to pass the exams. However, beware its a lot of materials covered on one exam and a lot of memorizing to get a passing grade.

This has to be the EASIEST class you can take. He posts all assignments on TRACS and you only need to go to class for the exams. All the assignments can be found on Quizlet, so really its just putting in the effort to turn-in all assignments. Take him, its the easiest A.

HE IS AWESOME!!!! Take him if you are looking for an easy A! Gives tons of extra credit and the final is optional. He has a very strange sense of humor but over all great class. Oh and... quilt is your best friend for studying for the exams.

Took Summer course. He's heavy on TRACS assignments. Bishop knows his stuff and his youtube vids are helpful, but boring. The material is easy, but his exams/quizes are ambiguously worded, with lots of tricky questions. They are almost more exam skills, than actual knowledge of economics. Makes for a easy B, but you'll have to work for an A

He is very unorganized when it comes to tests and his lectures. On his tests don't be surprised if he adds questions from chapters that you haven't covered in class. His lectures are almost pointless since he gets off track and rambles about anything that is not about Econ. He replies to emails very late. Avoid his class! 3 tests, optional final.

I took this guy for 2301 , i don't understand how he has so many positive reviews. There are quizzes due every day! And you have to watch his awful online lecture videos. I'll study thinking I know the material but the tests are hard af. Involves a lot of critical thinking... he only gives you 50 min for a test

Take him! His lectures can drag but he does offer extra credit and his tests are not hard at all! He posts opptional online quizzes, do those and you'll be golden (same questions). Overall he wants everyone to do good, I highly recommend.
