Comment:
I really enjoyed Professor Wiesenthal's class! She was respectful and open to discussing sensitive topics. Her expectations are high, but I feel like it's worth it if you want to improve your writing. The course had three major assignments and 20% was dedicated to your participation grade. There's also no final!

Christine is a super nice person and obviously a great editor, but her expectations never seem to be met. Talking with classmates, we all submitted work that seemed good, at least, and the best mark out of us all was a B+. Her grading is full of compliments and suggestions but ends with a harsh grade. And your participation matters!! She grades it.

Professor Wiesenthal is an absolute delight! The classes are discussion based, so participation is super important. The readings are relatable and interesting and ultimately serve as nice sources of inspiration. She's accessible outside of class and is happily willing to discuss papers. She's a fair marker, but always pushes you!

Christine was an absolute delight. Lectures were discussion heavy, students were encouraged to participate and lead the discussion wherever they wanted, and she accepted all input as valid. Her syllabus readings were interesting, but could get a little long, especially when two or three were assigned per class, but it was all worth it imo.

Brilliant, fantastic, wonderful. She flows easily with student ideas, and never tries to push what she wants to talk about - she wants to make it about our interest. Lots of reading, but it's worth it. Classes were fascinating, and I learned so much from them. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.

She is a great prof and incredibly smart. Although the class is difficult, she is a very chill and giving marker. Even if you do not do all the readings and attend class regularly you can still do pretty well!

I absolutely LOVED her class! best English teacher I've ever had! She gives great feedback on your work and even though I didn't take notes during lectures, they were very interesting and I was always paying attention. Make sure to study hard and be prepared for the final, that's what owned me. But seriously, best English prof ever.

Really hard marker, so make sure you know what she wants. Puts a lot of insight into the texts being read and knows them thoroughly. Make sure you participate in her classes, as she marks that.

An absolutely amazing professor. I learned so much from her, and she marks at a UNIVERSITY level, which means that she actually expects you to write properly. When you get a good grade in her class, you know you have earned it. She gives LOTS of feedback.(Also, I'm not sure what her clothing and hairstyle have to do with her ability to teach).

she's a very tough marker and expects a lot, but her class is SO worth it. Dr. Wiesenthal is such a dynamic lecturer and will keep you engaged...even with the dry stuff. Also she's hilarious. And I, personally, love her style.
