His lectures aren't as helpful as just learning definitions from the textbook, so make sure you get the book for this class. He is the coolest prof I have had so far. He is very caring of his students and passing was a breeze for me. A very interesting class that I would recommend.

If your goal is to learn a lot, Nick is your professor. Coasters need not apply. Exams are VERY tough, but if you attend classes, take notes and put effort into homeworks, you'll do well. He will challenge you to examine your beliefs, but for the most part, does not try to push an agenda. Learned a lot and enjoyed the classroom debate.

This class was pretty interesting and Nick always kept the class entertained. If you get offended easily, I don't recommend taking this class, but if you don't, then I would highly suggest it. The homework is kind of difficult and the tests are REALLY hard, but he's pretty laid back so I wouldn't worry too much. Overall, cool and hilarious teacher.

Great guy. Makes the class fun and interesting.. hes a bit eccentric but thats to be expected from an ethics teacher lol. Hes very helpful and nice guy. Class is not mandatory but you should soo attend it as it will help you pass class. Difficult exams and homework from textbook alot are only issues. =]

I've taken 3 classes with Nick so far, and i'm definitely going to be taking more! He's a great teacher, kinda quirky, but once you get used to him you'll love him. always there to help out if you struggling in class. VERY tough exams...but they're doable if you study the textbook.

His class is not easy, but if you put in the work and effort, it is possible to get an A. He is an amazing teacher and is willing to work with you to help you understand the information. He is understanding to unfortunate circumstances just communicate with him. Overall, wonderful class. Wanna take more classes with him.

Words cannot describe how crazy he is. This class is fun to attend because he'll crack you up every chance he gets. The tests can be hard but he curves. Don't study what he tells you to, because they aren't on the tests; study your hardest with the entire textbook.

Philo of the mind: Weekly small essays due on mondays, reads your paper and comments throughout. Material is difficult if you dont know anything about philosophy. You must read the book to really understand the concepts.Midterm and Finals are nearly impossible, filled with terms and concepts so you must continue with the reading and essays.Funny gu

1st Philosophy class and I was totally lost. Prof Nick, instead of leaving you behind, was with you every step of the way. Tests are a challenge, but he is very forgiven. I hope to take all my philosophy classes with him, as I'll definitely be an expert by the end.

Seems to be a really good guy who loves teaching. He can ramble a bit, but is very interesting even then. He's very intelligent and knows everything there is to know about philosophy, AND he's not too rough on the eyes. I look forward to his classes every week.
