He's really helpful and makes everything available for you on blackboard. You get all the questions for the test, so it's really easy to study for. There's one paper that's pretty boring, but if you just follow his directions you'll do fine.

Good Teacher. All lectures power point and are pretty clear. Posts all power points online and even gives summaries. Test questions are given ahead of time but he chooses 5 of 25 he gives you to study. Not hard but tests are essays and it's a matter of time. Also need to read the book for certain questions on tests--but he tells you where.

At first I was intimidated because he seemed like he'd be a difficult grader. On the contrary, you can at least get a B if you put in the work. MAKE SURE you do well on your paper as it is 40% of your grade. Grever's happy to help any student out who needs it and he's in his office often. If you're a good writer, you'll do great in this class.

Grever is a great teacher. As long as you go to class and review the material he posts on blackboard you will do fine on the tests. I had his class at 8 in the morning, and found class very interesting instead of not being able to stay awake.

This class was awesome! Almost made me want to switch to a history major (almost...) The guy is amazing. He seems to know everything about every little detail. Head of the History department for a reason. Accent is not a factor. Tells you exactly what is on the test (litearlly publishes all of the questions.) Not easy A but B. Study tests!

Well, if all of you think he is the best teacher at LMU, then I give up. I agree that he tells you everything thats going to be on the test, but that doesn't mean the class is long enough to finish the tests which are comprised of 5 or 6 essays. He has a foreign accent which makes him difficult to understand and if you raise your hand to ask what he just said, he'll make you sit their until he's finished talking and the subject had long passed.

This teacher was awesome. Just show up for class, his lecture is all on power point, very clear. 3 tests total, noncumulative, all the questions are on the study guide. 1 paper, participation and your set. Best most interesting class I have ever taken.
