She's a bad instructor. She is terribly unorganized. Biggest complaint is the random lectures she puts out whenever she feels like it. And the lectures themselves are messy and disorganized. She covers about 10% of what's actually in the homework/labs. Be prepared to teach yourself or better yet pick another teacher!!

Awful instructor. Never wants to help a student out and will direct you right back to the textbook. Lectures were all over the place but thankfully not mandatory. Basically wants you to teach yourself how to do everything. Do not expect leniency at all.

I really enjoyed taking her class, it's a bit work heavy but that's expected. you can tell that she really cares about her students, she's very charismatic and full of joy. She covers a lot of material, yet she makes sure that you have all the materials to understand the work.

Diane is an awesome teacher. She is very thorough in making sure everyone understands subject before moving on. She answers her emails often and will gladly answer any questions you might have. Through MyStatLab checking your grade is easy, there are weekly assignments due online that are easy if you pay attention. I definitely recommend her class.

Took the redesign class for Math90-Math94. It was okay. Basically as long as you finish all the assignments by the end of the semester you're guaranteed a C. But you can't move on or unlock the next assignment until you get at least a C on the current assignment.

She's helpful when the students really need it. Her quizzes and exams usually need some clarification on what she expects from us, but you can ask her for it. She smiles a lot and certainly brightens up my day. Bumped up a grade for a friend of mine from a C+ to a B- after the sem ended when e-mailed, so get on her good side!

Ms V is very clear on what she expects from her students I never had to look at the book because her notes are that clear If I had questions she was always available whether it'd be after class or during office hours She builds a learning environment for her students Whats in the notes is enough to prepare you for the the test and hw

I had Ms. V for two semesters, and thoroughly enjoyed her classes. She has zero tolerance for people who do not do their homework, skip class, text, let their phones ring, or leave at break, but if you do your homework and stay in class, she is the most amazing, helpful teacher you could ask for. She makes her expectations clear, and the math easy.

I have her this semester and all assignments are online. Not a big fan of that, "out of sight, out of mind" so i sometimes forget that assignments are due. Attendance is mandatory and she makes sure everyone understands what she's teaching. Very passionate about math with a "pi" tattoo on her arm :) Go Diane!

let me put it to you like this. i had her for statistics my freshman fall semester and finite mathamatics my second freshman spring semester. she is a very hard teacher there is no doubt about that. her classes are tough and she demands greatness. you cannot slack off what so ever. overall though, best teacher i have ever had.

I think Diane is great. She writes out explanations/steps then follows up with examples. It can be hard, but well, hello, its math...IT'S HARD!! You cannot slack in her class because it will kill your grade, but she is willing to work with you if something is going on outside of school and if you communicate with her. All the hw helps understand!

Her class is no picknick because she's one of the teachers who will be sure to challenge your dedication and work ethic. I panicked about upcoming tests which I usually averaged a B on. I ultimately succeeded by completing every homework assignment and she gives a lot! She'll give you a taste of what a four-year math course could be like!

She should not be teaching. She can't even answer her own test questions at times and tells students to "see her after class" when she can't answer a question in class. When you see her after class she will tell you that "it is your responsibility to come to class prepared" and will not help you.
