This class is all about memory retention--if you're not committing 1-2 hrs daily on memorizing the terms and content of each chapter, you will not pass. There are online quizzes and PROCTORED tests every week. If you are not self-motivated, you will fail. Use flashcards and practice the online exercises through the textbook software.

Carole is by far the least helpful teacher I've had. Claims to be about "organization" but is more unorganized than anything. She is a mess and perhaps past her years for which she should be teaching. Office hours posted, REFUSES to meet or help. Have a question? Brace yourself. Suggestion: if you don't like people and cant teach, DON'T TEACH.

In what academic world is appropriate to not provide your students feedback on answers they get wrong on tests? You can only discuss your test answers in person, which defeats the purpose of taking an online class. The meaningless assignments at the beginning of term have unclear, unhelpful instructions. Unpleasant written communication.

Do not take this class online, it is not considered online for distant students! You will have to go weekly to a test center to take a test that's about 1:20min. Test center hours SUCK for those who work. Make sure this class will work with your schedule. Hard class for quizzes and Exam determent your grade. Her lecture will not help with quiz.

Disliked; 1- she doesn't let you see the exam after you taken it (to see right/wrong answers) unless you go see her during office hours. 2- I studied everything and there was questions on the exam that wasn't in the chapter. Like; she was understanding if you're late on a deadline if you let her know ahead of time.

This class was much harder than it should have been It's really all about the instructor and what she expects from you so pay attention and make adjustments journals are crazy hard if you have taken this class you will appreciate all the grammatical errors Ive made :) she grades with a white glove this is not an easy A as most would expect

She always has a major group project in every class she teaches. She is smart and funny and loves to talk about her travels. She really is fascinating. She challenges you and she inspires you. Don't think that it's going to be easy. It's not. But it is so worth it and you will learn A LOT.

I took her class online and the expectations were clear from the begining. What I think mirrors many other comments, it is a tough class, understand the expectations and commitment expected. I have never met her personally but I found her responsive and helpful to my questions online. Get the Quizlet App it will save your life with the terms.

MO114 is a class of straight memorization so studying regularly is a must! If you want to do well in this class you simply have to put in the work to do so. She would sometimes email me back. She has a clear due date schedule so if you just follow that and don't slack you'll be fine! Your grade is based off of your test scores so study!!

do not recommend this teacher for medical terminology classes. She is not helpful and does not respond to e-mails. She also states what you can be expected to see on the test however, this is not so. Definitley not happy with the teacher and will never take her again.

The issue I had with this course was all grades were test dependent.If you don't test well,your grade drops. She would have bits of extra information she would post online and hold you responsible on weekly test.Also,She never narrowed down what you should study,so it was a lot of info. Cumulative final was due right after a regular test too.

she is a good teacher but its a very very hard class if you mess up your in anything, it will be hard to get up. i would leave this class off to the last minute, but she is a great teacher. the work is really hard in that class
