Maron is horrible. He is so confusing and rude to students. Try to avoid if possible, but most semesters he's the only option for Linear. My advice is to attend every SI possible and do the homework, even though he doesn't grade it.

Absolutely worst professor anyone could have in their college life. Stay away from this rude and unprepared professor. He doesn't know what he is doing. i don't think that even department cares for it, because i heard that so many students complained to department about his teaching ans laziness, but no result. so better not sign him up.

In short, he is the absolute worst instructor I've ever encountered in my educational history. Incomprehensible notes, lectures consist of random bits of info he finds "interesting", and he wastes probably 30% of the entire semester's class time telling us how stupid we are for not grasping the material. Plus he's rude. Avoid at all costs.

we have started doing online homework and he could not figure out how to set it up and now no homework grades, he also basically calls us stupid during the class and he is a hard grader since he grades it himself

He will jump from chapter 1 to 12 and all over. His exams are not like the HW,complains constantly about how bad we did on the exams. He refuses to use any teaching method other than premade notes. His notes are a mess and uncomprehendable. He will not allow questions in class and wont let you come to office hours. quiz every tue.exam every thur.

Terrible. Studying his notes is like looking into a strobe light because he highlights almost every word. He spends more time complaining about how dumb we were instead of fixing the problem he created from the get go. His self-made notation is just ridiculous and includes his initials MJM way too many times to inflate his big head. Please avoid!!!

This professor was never prepared for class and had no kind of introduction what so ever for his lectures. He just started into the lecture like it was something you knew since kindergarten.

He is quite possibly the worst professor I have ever had in college. I transferred from a different university, and Speed school was definitely harder, but he made it next to impossible, I spent probably 5 hours a day the first week studying, and then gave up and dropped to Tyler and Ralston because of how little he explained and how rude he was.

He like to spent more time talking about how horrible his students are than teaching the class. He like to used Maple a lot. He knows what he's doing but don't know how to teach the class.

This guy is a good teacher, but has a tough class, moves fast in the lecture, and covers complex material. You have to be willing to do alot of work on your own, and visit his office for help alot. His explanations are frequently on a conceptual level, which helps if you understand it a bit, but not so much if you don't.

He's my fav prof. b/c he's very intelligent and knows his stuff. He teaches so that we know HOW and WHY certain formulas are used. I think that if you ask him for help, then he'll be more than willing to help, but if you screw around, he has no mercy on your grade. I find him to respectful. Remember: He's here to help you learn the material, not

I honestly don't know how he fits his head through the door... He is often openly disrespectful of the students, he has no structure to his lecture, and he spends more time ranting about how everybody needs to improve their study habits than he does actually presenting new material. He's got a weird fetish for maple too... worst prof i've ever had.

I agree with previous reviews that unless you have to take him take Tyler and Ralston which they arn't easy either but they dont make up their own notations for everything. Keep in mind that maron is the reason maple is taught. There is no good way to get around EAC but Tyler/Ralston is your best bet. Find friends fast to be able to pass otherwise

Marion is a professor of mixed reviews. Calculus isn't easy, and he's not going to give you the grade, but if you are attentive and go to EVERY CLASS you might get an education. He doesn't teach to show off, and will earn your respect after 6-8 weeks. You should know maple before taking him. His class is very fair, no cheating will occur.

Prof Maron is a great teach with great desire to teach student should they desire to learn. One thing students turn to forget is that education does not come cheap. You must work for it. If you wont a good grade but never work towards it, don't expect Dr. MARON to provide such grade for you. He is a great guy if you get to know him. As long as you
