Organic Chemistry 100% online. I am self-disciplined and studied non-stop. The material in the exams were sometimes foreign to what we were taught in notes and practice. The most stressful class I have ever taken as well as the most difficult exams, made purposely hard. Only the strong survive.

I had Witucki during covid and strictly online. She seems very enthusiastic but she was not helpful. She was rude to many students through email through out the semester. Quizzes and exams are structured to trick you. I don't know about in person but do not take her if you have online orgo. I am normally an A/B student-ill be lucky to pass.

Orgo is hard in general, but wituckis exams are near impossible. Prepare to study for the rest of time because no matter what you do her exam questions are so difficult. Way harder than examples done in class. 15 answer options to chose from. Notes are laid out extremely well and she's not a bad lecturer but exams make u fail

Her lectures are very easy to follow and she is always helpful in office hours and if you need extra help. She does a good job teaching a tough subject, but the way she structures her exam are impossible. You are not allowed to backtrack and she often throws in things not mentioned in lecture. Good teacher but makes impossible tests.

Dr. Witucki is VERY organized, which makes her class very easy to navigate. She does curve some exams, and offers extra credit towards the end of the semester. However, she doesn't respond very well to feedback. The quizzes and exams don't allow backtracking, and the material is MUCH harder than the practice you're given on homework and in lecture

She was probably the best chemistry teacher that I have had of all time. Lectures were amazing, she made it seem so easy. She explained everything so well, and it made the exams so easy. I got A's and B's on every exam, ended with an A in the class. She does have pop "participation" quizzes so go to lectures! It is worth it to attend every lecture.

Witucki genuinely loves what she teaches & she is sweet. But, from my experience, she tends to go through material fast and you have to do a lot of work on your own individual time to understand, plus, Organic Chem IS NOT EASY. Grade depends on 3 exams and a final. Tests are very hard but she provides a lot of practice prior to do on your own time

I had her for 242 lab, and I loved her! She was very enthusiastic and approachable, something I find very important in a lab prof! I would definitely take her again if I could!

Dr. Witucki was an amazing professor. She really cares about the students being successful. There is no other professor that I believe could teach organic chem better than her and she is very very organized. Her exams are really difficult, but I found that finding classmates to study with was really helpful! Highly recommend!

Professor Witucki is a great person and professor; however, I will say that her exams are quite challenging. If you take the 50 minute class, getting done in that time is very stressful. She also is sometimes rushed when you ask questions. She is very helpful during her office hours, but if you do not study A LOT on your own, you will not do great.

Professor Witucki is a quirky and kind professor. She is very passionate about chemistry and seems to know almost anything you can imagine. She has the best lecture with pretty clear expectations. You really should go to every class because they are really helpful and she rewards you for doing so at random times. Her tests are hard, but worth it!

I loved Witucki as a person, but only partially as a professor. She was super clear in explaining basic foundation material, but when it came down to providing good examples for test questions, there simply was a gap. I did fairly well on the free-response, but I did not feel prepared for those multiple choice questions. Those destroyed me.

Loved having Professor Witucki. She has a slower teaching method that some of the other organic professors. The material covered in class is very difficult and she does a very good job of explaining concepts. Will be taking her for 242 as well

Probably one of the best professors I've had ever, her teaching style is clear and concise. She lets you know exactly what you need to, gives a ton of practice and is always willing to help. Her quirky personality and humor make Orgo enjoyable. As I've heard and agree with, best professor to take Orgo with.

Dr. Witucki is such a great professor; she provides so many opportunities to practice the material before exams through practice worksheets and recommended book problems. Her skeleton notes make lectures relatively clear and easy to follow. If you have to take organic chemistry, try and take it with Dr. Witucki for sure.

One of the nerdiest profs I've ever had, but that's what makes her qualified: she's passionate about Orgo. She's very clear when lecturing. She gives a TON of extra practice problems; do those if you don't want to read the textbook. Tests are fair if you've practiced the material as anyone should for a chem class. She's very nice. Great class.

Honestly the best chem prof at GV. her skeleton notes are so helpful and she goes over what you need to know in class, something most orgo profs dont do! She pretty much tells ya whats on the tests and is so so nice! LOVE HER!!!!

Comment:
Orgo is awful to begin with. You never use the book and theres occasionally a quiz on a friday. Almost all points come from exams, which are crazy hard. Get ready to dedicate your life to orgo. Somewhat helpful in office hours.
