Lots of reading and blogs. You are also required to right 4 major documents (2 of which are as a group). Formal project is 10-15 pages long. Say goodbye to your weekends. Late on putting grades in and still has an upwards of 10 assignments that still haven't been graded! It's the last day of school!

I've taken two grad-level courses with Dr. Nardone, and she's been wonderful both times. To comments about lack of clarity: while this can be true, it's not a negative trait. Dr. Nardone doesn't articulate specific expectations because she challenges students to think critically about making writing functional. She helped realize my career path!

I have mixed feelings about Dr. Nardone. On a positive note, she is very passionate and knowledgeable about the material, but she assigns a lot of homework and doesn't make her expectations very clear. I learned a lot in her class, but I'd say err on the side of caution with this one.

Took summer class and it was difficult to say the least. Same material as full semester and a ton of work. You will learn about various documents and how to review classmates papers. Grades may be late but she provides great feedback on papers. Not an easy A or B, but you will learn. If you put in effort she will help you in any way possible.

Very rude. Very scatterbrained. She plays this game where she stands in front of the class and gets mad at us for not knowing the answers to her questions. She often forgets that she is teaching NON-English majors who have never done these assignments before. Takes long time to grade work. Class also ended up 2 weeks behind schedule. DO NOT TAKE

Dr. Nardone is good instructor. She focuses on her students knowing how to put together important documents.you don't get your grades back, but she will help you if you ask and go see her in her office. I ended up learning so much in this class and that's why we go to school.

I had a very horrible experience. Turned in assignments two months prior and still have not received any grades. She wrote the textbook that she uses; however, the information is wrong in many places. She constantly changes her mind about what she wants for her assignments. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Dr. Nardone is horrible! She takes a long time to grade assignments. Most of the work is unnecessary! She gives too much work and gets mad when the quality is not good. She is horrible at explaining the key things. Task lists are ridiculously long! Scatterbrained, confusing. She explain things the difficult way. She's also rude. Don't take her.

Dr Nardone is a terrible teacher. Not only is she forgetful in the sense of returning grades back to you, but she is very scatterbrained when it comes to assignments. It is very difficult to follow up on what is due in the class. Not only that, but she is very disrespectful to her students and constantly makes cynical remarks. Avoid Nardone!!!!!

For A&P attendance is mandatory. She expecst you to read the book and is very interactive and if you can argue your point. She cares primarily about what you get out of the class and what you understand (grades can't be helped because it's school.)Midterm is long and hard, still the class with her was fun. Excellent teacher and student interest.

Took awhile to get grades back. It was hard to know your grade as you went through the semester. Sometimes her lectures were unorganized. When she gives assignments the directions are unclear but if you go to her she will explain. Hard on grading for essays. Not an easy A class if that's what you're looking for.

At first i thought she was going to be a good teacher. But she took forever to give us are grades back. We did a lot of assignments and only got the blog grades back. We didn't know till the end of the semester what are grade was. She kept saying she was gonna give us are grades and never did. Be prepared to work in her class.

Easily one of the most knowledgeable professors that SHSU offers. As long as you are willing to show up and put forth an effort, there is nothing this professor will not help you complete and understand. Glad I was not one of the many that dropped! You will be, too...

Dr. Nardone was a little different. Scatterbrained at times & forgetful but when she was prepared she taught well. I like how relaxed the class was & how we wrote about relevant stuff. we had to buy 3 books for her class though they were fairly cheap. She likes being vague about her assignments so if you can't handle that find another teacher.

Terrible Teacher. EXTREMELY UNCLEAR directions. She is very scatterbrained and has no idea how to teach a class. She is extremely sarcastic in her comments! Unfair grading scale, will randomly give you a low grade without explaining why. I took her last spring and she would write nasty comments on my papers that other English teachers had looked at

TERRIBLE!!! Most ridiculous and unfair prof. I've ever met. Her directions are not clear and if you point that out, she takes it personally and feels you are challenging her. When critiquing assignments or answering questions, her choice of language, tone and phrases are the most unprofessional, rude and childish! Makes simple material hard!Dropped

Dr. Nardone was cool. I learned alot from her. I deserved an A, and she gave me a B - and that kept me off of the Dean's List, but that's ok. She's still a great teacher and I'm glad I got a chance to meet her.
