I was very independent in this class. I did all the homework without watching the videos she posted and if I needed help, I would email her and she would get back to me. I think Dr. Dias is a very nice and caring person, but I could tell that online classes weren't really her thing. This class wasn't difficult in my opinion, just independent.

Worst prof I have ever had. Most days she wouldn't upload a single lecture, video, or any material at all but still expect students to complete the Homework--over material that was not covered. Avoid her at all costs. You will not learn a thing with her as your prof--she will make the very easy material as hard as possible.

Dr. Dias was not helpful despite me reaching out in a non-accusatory way in distress. She told me that people have gotten A's before, and her class is not that hard. She is not clear about her grading criteria and lectures without posting powerpoints or recordings anywhere. She is flustered and cant use technology at all. Do not recommend.

She uploads videos of her "teaching" that make no sense at all. I had to look up how to do most of the problems online. I Taught myself this material with no help from her. I would never recommend taking her class. She is rude to her students when we ask for help too. She puts the blame on her students and acts as if she does nothing wrong.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT TAKE W HER!!One of the WORST professors ive ever had in all of my schooling. I took this class online because of the covid pandemic and she was not understanding of it at all. She refused to answer emails when i was simply asking for help, she wouldnt help any of her students and very clearly did not want us to succeed. 0/10.

I like Dias and think she is a sweet lady, but gosh this class was so boring and I online shopped in class most days. Just do your homework and show up to class every once in a while and you'll get a 100% in the class. The part of the semester where we were online was all bookwork and homework, super easy. Again, if you do your work you'll be fine.

Ana Dias is a real gem of a person. She doesn't delight in making her class difficult, but English is not her first language, so some things get lost in translation. She gave extra credit on a day that people skipped and gave A's to everyone when our program stopped working. She knows what she's talking about, she just struggles to articulate it.

How can I explain Ana Dias... I missed 5 of her classes and was not behind at all When the program she uses for labs stopped working she gave us all As for the remaining labs we didn't do She gave us all the answers to the homework she gave us all the questions to the final exam She gave us all extra credit when we showed up to a Friday class Love

Ana is a really kind professor. She has no issues explaining ideas or methods, but she is really easily influenced by student feedback. Even if the opinion is not the most popular, if it is the loudest, she will do it. She knows what she's talking about but is quiet sometimes and does not give a lot of assignments so every point counts.

She is an absolutely awful Professor. I left that class extremely frustrated every day. She is extremely unorganized and has no idea what she is talking about. The class is title "Math for Elementary Teachers", but there is no way I could ever teach this material to elementary students, given the fact that college students didn't even understand it

I have taken many different math classes with her because no other professor was offered for the class. She is always very unorganized and not clear in what she expects. She never seems well prepared for class and it seems like a times she doesn't even know what she is talking about. Don't take a class with her unless absolutely necessary.

Dias is not fit for the classroom. She is almost always unprepared, and never seems to know what she is doing. Sometimes she tries to figure out problems on the board, and that just confuses the class. She teaches an education course, but does not teach you how to teach at all. If I could, I would never take one of her classes again.

She was always unprepared, talked too soft and never had a lesson. She always used handouts for a class that should be hands- on. Her explanations and directions are confusing. I strongly suggest you get another professor.

She speaks so soft, if you don't sit in the front you can't hear her. She was never prepared for class. There are almost never lessons, just handouts. She didn't know how to do a lesson and taught it backwards! Sometimes she speaks in spanish, it was a math class. I have a good grade, but learned nothing! I strongly recommend another teacher.

She's difficult to understand and is never prepared for class. She doesn't explain the material very well, and spends more time fiddling around trying to figure out what she's doing than teaching. She grades the portfolio hard and exams are difficult.
