Dr. Perry is funny. I enjoyed the class, she didn't let me redo any of the quizzes I missed. The TWO tests are straight forward if you print off the powerpoint slides and highlight or annotate points she makes in class. 75% of the questions come from online quizzes. In class assignments are easy As. Sent a roster around but no grade for attendance.

Dr. Perry's class was more interesting than I anticipated. She was vey helpful and met with me when I asked. She gives the questions and answers for the final exam and for the other exams one just has to read and review. A very easy class to pass just has to study and not try to fly through.

Dr. Perry drones over powerpoints every class. Very easy to fall asleep to this boring teacher. The tests require you to read every chapter and the blackboard readings. There is no real study guide, just a list of words from the chapter. I would not recommend taking her unless you need to.

i love taking Dr. Perry i think she is an amazing teacher. Yes you have to take notes on what she is saying because there are not many words on the power-points but if u ask her she will repeat what she says. Her tests are not that hard but you do have to study the study guide i would go to class as well because she explains the material on tests

Although her lectures are long and pointless, she does take attendance and gives random assignments. This is the most hated class of mine. The tests are pretty easy as long as you study your notes and the study guide.

Dr. Perry is a nice lady, but does not explain things clearly. This class focuses more on biological anthropology, because that is what Dr. Perry does, than cultural, which was hard because I am not that great at science and I was expecting a more cultural study. The final is easy if you study your old exams. It is made up of old exam questions.

Dr.erry is a sweet lady but her classes are very pointless. She's know a lot but her powerpoints are only pictures so you must take notes on what she says which can very confusing. She does film days with a quiz. Each chapter has BB wiki (annoying). As long as you actually read the book the exams are easy! Does study guides and review sessions too

She rode her bike to class on the first day...also she kind of randomly discusses things loosely related to the topic. My class was at 8am and I could barely keep myself awake.

WORST "teach" at ecu. She teaches you nothing, she rambles on about different topics then the ones she should be discussing, and the tests dont even cover the material she goes over in class. VERY bad idea for a freshman to take this class, it will make you HATE college

WORST CLASS EVER. She is a very nice lady and is funny. However, her lectures have no structure so it is IMPOSSIBLE to take notes. What she lectures on is NOT on the tests. Horrible class, don't take her!

AWFUL. She's a nice woman, but she cannot teach. She rambles, doesn't teach what's on the test, and isn't willing to help students. Her lectures are impossible to follow. Taking notes is difficult due to her lack of structure during lectures. I would not recommend this class to anyone who takes their education seriously.

I took human health and disease, I honestly was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was never interested in the subjects until this course. She requires you to EARN your grade, so if you are just paying for a good time degree, don't bother - but if you want a good education and a grade to earn and useful knowledge take it.

Dr. Perry is a great professor. Anthropology, itself, is very difficult and there was a lot to learn for a 1000 level course. Hard exams but participation really helps your grade! I would take Dr. Perry again. Loved her! Good luck!

Dr. Perry is a good teacher. Her tests are on the easier side, but obviously just like any other teacher if you don't study, you probably won't do well on the tests. Class is not mandatory but to know what the notes on power point are talking about you probably want to attend. Also an attendance sheet is passed around.

If you want to keep your GPA up do not take this class. She rambles on and gives you too much information too fast. This lady is nuts, her reviews are nothing like the tests she gives and they are hard!

Medium difficulty class. She is good at giving you the good chunks of info you need to know but make sure you do the readings because thats where all the specific details you'll need for tests and study guides are. The homework assignments are pretty easy, just make sure you do them because they can make your grade when you need it.
