He isn't a very good teacher. He goes off on random tangents that have nothing to do with the class. He doesn't listen to students when they give the answer. His midterms don't coincide with the syllabus and the papers you have to write are about things he randomly comes up with. Overall don't take his class.

This is the worst prof I've ever had. He decided to make his own textbook with spelling errors and other unnecessary information. His midterms and exams are just random vocabulary words and he does not follow the syllabus. It has been well over one month since the exam and we still haven't received our final grades. AVOID AT ALL COST

He puts things on his exams that were not on the course outline. In a course on writing techniques he tested on idiomatic expressions. He is condescending and designs his courses to demean his students and inflate his ego. He gave us one of his own short stories to write a critical piece about and have students who didnt praise it bad grades.

Syllabus said we were to learn chapters 1-13 and Prof only taught us 1-6... little did we know that the final exam would have all the things that we did not learn at all. If you have this prof, SWITCH! You will not be prepared for Language Training II and your final exam mark will drag your average down SIGNIFICANTLY!

He is pretentious and very, very condescending. He also really likes to lecture about anything and everything but the course material. Seriously, he once went on about the differences in food in various French communities for an entire class. It was a grammar course.

The exam was all about grammar, but his class was all about... well, the population of China, how engines work, and other useless things. He mostly made us read aloud, which would be great in an oral proficiency class, but awful in a grammar class. Then he emailed his students and blamed us for not having done well on the subjonctif. Go figure.

Good sense of humour but often gets sidetracked and doesn't get much accomplished. Only gave us two days notice on a midterm which was infuriating. Overall, nice guy but could definitely help himself and everyone else by being more organized.

Hated him. As a person who was in french, and not fully fluent in it, I hated sitting in his classrooms. He would call on random people to answer questions, he didn't really lecture on what was being learned, so you had to learn it on your own. Came across as VERY arrogant. He was funny though. Found his class time unhelpful
