Very funny, he makes the lecture enjoyable. The in-class assignments are the easiest thing. However, have fun but dont trust his jokes. make sure to study before the tests.

Candy is the best prof I had my first semester. He really cares about your progress and will help you any way he can. He is also absolutely hilarious. As long as you show up and put in the effort, you will get a good grade. Tip- look up the grading criteria beforehand and start training in the summer to get a better grade.

Had the opportunity to have Mr. Candy as a prof this semester and am really glad I did! He makes lectures very interesting and fun with his great sense of humor and easy to understand teaching methods. You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and their success in his class. Overall a great teacher and a great person!

I've had Candy for both of my health classes at NC. He makes the learning experience enjoyable through his humour and his ability to teach the subject matter in a relatable way. He is also a fair and reasonable prof who is understanding and accommodating to the needs of his students. I definitely recommend taking his classes, you wont regret it!

his exams are hard as hell for a 1 credit health class. like i'm not just slow or not studying, i made honor roll both terms but it was a pain to study really hard for my main laws then have to crash on health because he would give no hints or anything. gourley was wayyy more chill 1st term. if u can, try to get her
