Gratch is super great. He can be a tough grader but will explain why your grade is what it is.

I took this class for INTRO to Public Speaking and the difficulty level was much higher than a regular INTRO course. He is a nice person but an extremely difficult grader. I consider myself a better than average/proficient public speaker, but I made a B in this course.

Classical Theory is difficult both mentally and emotionally. Gratch let me yell about whatever was worrying me throughout the semester. Genuinely the best RHET professor at GC. Hes challenging but from everything I take away I feel like its worth it. Never has a man more thoroughly tested my ability to perform executive functions but worth it.

This man is the reason I declared a Rhetoric minor. He cares so much about his students and understand that life happens. If you have an issue, come to him and he will work with you!

lectures are long, assigns long papers. just beware. honestly, his classes are always hard and for no reason. for example, twice i've taken a class with him and there has always been an assignment (i.e, paper or paper) where he says "oh it'll only take you x amount of time" and you then spend your entire week and weekend working on it. TOUGH

This was definitely one of my hardest classes for my first semester of college. I had to put in a good amount of effort into my work, in order to get a decent grade. I learned a lot not only from Gratch, but also my classmates. The storiesspeeches we told broke a lot of barriers and it made us understand ourselves and where other people come from
