Despite what people say in the comments below, Dr. Goldstone teaches his best in his office hours. He's actually really clear when there is no time constraint, and he uses interesting examples. I would definitely take him again. One of my favorite teachers.

HA! I did nothing, barely came to class, and passed with flying colors. Taking him again next semester and expecting the same thing, honestly easiest class I've taken ever.

Quizzes and tests are basically the same problems from the homework. You have to know what you're doing; you can't just memorize the processes of these topics. Very smart man but the class is often confused so ask questions because he can be hard to follow. Classmates say they only follow him because they already learned in high school. I can't.

I actually really liked him. Listen here, very important: DO THE HOMEWORK, ASK QUESTIONS. That's basically all you have to do. His quizzes were very often homework questions with slight variations. Tests were just like, beefed up quizzes. Not always easy, but as long as you DO THE HOMEWORK you should be fine. He's also very helpful.

Great & very smart Prof. He goes slow but to our benefit. Unlike profs that rush through everything and you don't learn. I learned a lot. I wish I took him for Calc 1 because he shows you the easiest methods possible and gives good mathematical tips. You will get a good grade if you do all the hw cuz thats what the quizzes AND tests are based on.

Rarely made sense during lecture, would not complete integrals in examples. Had to stop and correct himself frequently in the middle of an example. Quizzes were easy if you do the homework, tests are impossible. Only had 1 - 2 quiz grades by the time withdrawals came up. Always showed up to class late, and didnt go over the tests or quizzes.

Extremely slow when teaching but you will understand it when he is done. Seriously he beats you over the head with the same material for about 2 weeks before moving on but do the homework and a guaranteed A on quizzes. His tests are more difficult require some effort but its and easy course A = 100 - 90, B = 89 - 75, C = 74 - 60

He is so nice as a person and a little corny with the jokes. In class, he will explain an entire theory that just needed an equation. Just do the homeworks and you'll be fine. They're all odd numbers, so if you go on calcchat.com can you can yourself how to do it.

He's great because he makes the material interesting and he shows how it is pertinent to your particular major. He always gave examples that were easy to visualize. He doesn't check hw. He is really bad with getting your graded tests and quizzes back in time. I've been waiting for my course results for 2 weeks already... still waiting...

Interesting teacher.....Quiz's are really easy if you do the HW, tests take a little studying but you should do fine. I took him twice and I'm pretty lazy. You'll learn the material and get a decent grade if you do the work. Be prepared to teach yourself the material though.

He is a horrible teacher, I went for extra help and got no where with it. He shows up late for every class, the tests and quizzes are impossible. He's a nice guy but should not be teaching education majors.

Shows up late-- esspecially to tests and then gives questions that have no answers. Seems completely carelss and doesn't know how to teach. Can't get the material across in a clear way.

Dr. Goldstone is a very kind man, but also a tough porfessor to relate to. He does not know how to teach, and should be in a math laboratory.

He's a great teacher. Dr. Goldstone is very thorough, so if people don't understand he'll repeat the material in a sometimes painfully clear way. His tests are challenging but quite doable. Take Goldstone if you want to learn a lot and have a good sem.
