She is the sweetest Professor. Only around 3 essays. She deviates from originally planned curriculum making the semester easier than it originally was. As long as you do the essays and the work assigned, it should be an easy A. Shes amazing

Easy A. Prof. d'Alessandro is super caring and just a lovely person. As someone said, her motto is indeed "Do what feels most healing to you." Super understanding during covid. Just write the essays and say something in class. She truly welcomes all ideas. Very supportive in essay topic choices. Love her!

Quite possibly the worst professor I've ever met. Her entire class is sooo unorganized. She gave us a syllabus with upcoming assignments, but she always changes the prompts of the essays. She never gives us the exact prompt for the essays and expects us to write something she'll like. Also, essays and due dates are just thrown at you...

Tone-deaf teacher. She decided to make the entire writing class about our family relationships. Unfortunately you cannot see this beforehand but if I had I wouldn't have taken the class. She canceled 1st class and didn't have a syllabus for 2 weeks. The syllabus is unclear about expectations and unorganized. Don't listen to the positive reviews.

I would sit hours after class talking to her -- hands down one of my favorite professors ever. She led the class by her motto: Do what feels most healing to you. She's wonderful, I wish I had more professors like her.

D'Alessandro is the best professor I've ever had. Although she frequently cancelled class, she always made up for it and helped you along the way. If you show up to class and participate, you will get an A. Most importantly, she cares about her students and always has amazing stories to tell. She genuinely cares about helping students improve.

Nina is nice, but she cancels class a lot, barely teaches you anything about writing, very disorganized, and still expects good writings from you. I just feel frustrated about this class because there's no helpful feedback from Nina to improve my writing. I haven't gotten any feedback from my first writing draft YET. And it's May already.

PROFESSOR NINA IS THE BEST WRITING TEACHER !! I love her so much! She is such a nice lady, caring and very sweet. This class is not hard, quite easy! She is very interresting, the class is very dynamique and she is the BEST. Her class is closed next semester for writting 2, otherwise I would have taken her again without any hesitation. TAKE HER!!

Professor Nina is a quick-witted, sharp, outgoing, and deeply compassionate teacher who is committed to the intellectual and emotional growth of her students. She is quick with a joke, a tale, or a well-memorized recitation of some beautiful classical poem or passage. I wholeheartedly recommend taking her class. You will be better for it.

I took Professor D'Alessandro for Writing I, and was lucky enough to get her class again for Writing II. She is and will forever be the most inspirational teacher you will ever have. What she truly cares about is the person, not the student. First of all, she will help you grow as a person, and with it as a writer. She's truly incredible, take her!

I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! She basically allows you to be as creative as possible as long as you know what you're doing. She changed by perspective on writing in general. She will change yours too! Not necessarily an Easy A. You still gotta put in the efforts. But it's honestly worth it! TAKE HER IF YOU CAN!

She was the sweetest and most caring professor. I got an A- in the course, which I think I deserved. She always gave good feedback and basically gave me all ideas for the midterm and final paper during her office hours. Not too much homework. If she fits in your schedule, definitely take her because her classes get filled up pretty quick!

A bit of a tough grader, especially if writing isn't your strong suit. However I still loved her & would take her class again. She's the best writing teacher Ive ever have - gave great feedback, great techniques on how to write better, and was always there for you. Homework is not graded. I was so sad when the semester ended, she was like a mother!

Nina is the best professor I had my first semester! She's a little disorganized but it really works in your favor! She's so sweet and kind and is always there for you whenever you need her! She is one of the most sincere teachers I've ever had. Not only does she have a genuine interest in the material, but also in her students' success. Her discussions were inspirational, relevant, and thought provoking. Not an easy A but would take again.
