I find him to be very good for 340. His lectures are interesting if you pay attention and he connects the material to life situations he has encountered in his work every chance he gets. His testing is straight to the point, nothing unnecessarily difficult but you have to know the rules. His notes were really helpful too, a bit messy but useful.

Absolute worst teacher ever, by far. His notes are not only incomprehensible but poorly organized, way longer than they should be, and also complicated. He always talks about how many people are always dropping his class and how many fail with a certain type of pride. Like, maybe he should start to wonder why so many people are dropping/failing...

I don't think he's a hard grader like other people say, it's taxation... It's either right or wrong according to the rules. However, his lectures are completely useless. He goes through his PDF notes without clearly explaining the procedures and refuse to do exercises in class to help people understand. I would avoid him if you have the choice.

Do not take him even if you have no choice. He is a very hard grader and less than 20% will get their B-. Run you fools!! There a way better tax teacher out there and their ratings are at least 2x better than this guy's

He is a very hard grader and his lectures are useless but he does provide notes that are very useful. He speaks very fast and it is really hard to understand him. That being said his reviews classes prior to exams are very useful. If you are good in reading the text books and learning on your own take him if not take acco 340 with another prof

Mr. Mastromonaco is a terrible instructor. He speaks too fast, even though students have repeatedly complained about this. The only way for students to succeed in tax with this instructor is to do all the problems and read the textbook. Honestly, attending class was a complete waste of time. If you can, please take this class with another prof.

You have to be a tax man to enjoy this class. If you aren't, you will not, no matter how hard you try. He is a tax wiz and deserves respect, but in class he is very defensive, condescending, sarcastic and speaks at a fast pace. My tip is to read the notes before class, at least skim through it so you can follow. That and LOTS of practice problems.

If you challenge any of his explanations or solutions, he will become extremely defensive and move to another subject because he does not remember or does not seem to know why the solution is like it is. Please do yourself a favor and take the class with someone else. There are plenty of other good teachers in the country...

Totally useless. Avoid at any cost!!!can't teach. Himself says that if you are repeating this course, you will do good, otherwise.....JMSB is killing its reputation by hiring these kind of instructors who waste half of the time saying"i am too strong for chalks", whenever a chalk breaks.

Please never chose this teacher even if you there are no sections left! It was my 2nd time doing tax and this teacher will just discourage you from getting your B- with his VERY SARCASTIC comments in class. He doesnt post problems on FClass like other teachers do neither write on the board while teaching: he talks until he's out of breath

Worst teacher ever. Do not take him. If you do, heaven help you if you don't understand something, cause he sure won't. If you ask a question be prepared for a verbal beating directed at your intelligence. Practice all the past finals/ midterms you can find. I passed this course with the help of a tutor and crash course.
