Comment:
Biby is fine, this class is fine. There were some interesting aspects, but as a hybrid class, it was kind of just a plug-in your answers and move. Biby knows what she's talking about, and loves sports, but the class was just fine overall. There is one group project that isn't too hard.

If you try and watch her lectures it is clear that she doesn't have much of an idea of what shes talking about. She doesnt give feedback on the assignments so you never know why you got a bad grade, and she also doesnt explain what shes looking for on said assignments. She doesnt care about what youre going through, she is strict and to the letter.

Professor Biby is great! She is very sweet and cares about her students. However, her lectures are long and she reads right off the powerpoint most of the time. Her assignments can be tricky, however she gives you a few attempts to get a good grade. I would recommend her!

I had this class in hybrid format with her as one professor and then a different in person professor. If I could have had just 1, i'd prefer that. Her slides were different than the assignments and homework which was through the textbook online. I'm sure it's different though if you had her only and in person or online. It's a weighted course grade

Professor Biby was very energetic and upbeat for every single lecture. She does read straight off a powerpoint, but takes the time to discuss things other than just Econ and form a relationship with her students. She is very to the point with her assignment requirements and is always willing to do additional help. Would recommend for sure.

She checks all the boxes I need, clear grading and due dates, entertaining lectures, and accessible outside of class. She is extremely helpful when doing the info lit. I looked forward to her class, and will take her again if I need another econ class.

She was one of the best professors I ever had. She made the material easy to understand and she cared about her students. The work load is just right as well. Overall a fantastic professor and class.

Biby is a good person, but as a professor she struggles. How she does notes and lectures are horrible. She gets sidetracked easily. She reads off slides very fast, and doesn't post them anywhere to review. One group project, 4 tests, homework every week or so on MindTap. She is extremely available for help, though. Get help for InfoLit assignment.

She is an awful professor. She never has any idea what she's talking about and the homework questions can't even be found in the book. Every week there's an incoherent assignment due on Blackboard. She is scatterbrained and does not help students understand material. The textbook is extremely hard to read and contradicts itself on every other page.

Before taking her class I couldn't stand economics. She made it very easy for me to understand by providing real life examples. One of the best professors I've ever had. Go to her office hours before exams and clear up any confusion and you will do great. GO GREEN & Go Biby

She's very sweet and adorable, but her lectures can be pretty dull at times and would be more engaging if there was more participation-oriented things. As such, it's easy to miss the details she tests on. Exams are tough and can be confusing. Hard to not like her, but her teaching could be improved by teaching the steps of different concepts.

Wonderful teacher! I DO NOT like economics, and she made this class fun and interesting. If you go to class and do the homework you won't have a problem in this class.

Professor Biby is a GREAT teacher! I really appreciated that she used Aplia for homework assignments because it gives immediate feedback, in most cases. She makes economics interesting and easy to understand. Like others have said, she has an awesome personality and is super helpful. She's definitely in my top 5 of favorite professors at GVSU!

Honestly, Professor Biby is my favorite professor. She was so clear in the class and made it enjoyable with her awesome personality. I would recommend her to anyone. I was not looking forward to this class seeing as I do not enjoy anything math or economics related, but it was very fun and easy to follow with her!

Even though I've only completed one year, Professor Biby is the best instructor I have had a GV so far. She is an extremely nice and helpful lady, but at the same time makes you work hard and think about the concepts. I would highly recommend her.

Awesome professor!! Would take her again if I could. She explains everything you need to know for the exams very well. Makes you work for your grade and will not give you a "A-," even if you had an A the whole semester. I ended up with a B+, though I believed I should have gotten an A. Awesome teacher overall!!
