Comment:
This class was asynchronous. Professor Underwood-Caputo is a nice lady; she was very helpful when I went to office hours. The tests are fairly easy, but some of the questions are worded in a very difficult fashion. It was not an easy class to get an A in, but I managed it. The average grade in this class was a 73.

Literally the worst professor I have ever had as many already stated. Her tests are deadly, long questions, worded tricky to where it is to out of context and wrong grammar, and will have you multiplying numbers like 12.078 trillion/1.88 billion within a time limit of about 2 minutes per question. Feels like she is playing mind games with students.

Not an easy class, but doable. She is a decent professor who cares about her students. Lots of notes-taking, textbook reading, lecture reading, and for some, extra help needed to do well. I got an A average on packback, homework, quizzes, a B average on midterm exams, and a C on the final, and ended the class with a B.

This class is hard and super stressful !!!!. The quizzes are with just enough time to answer, although she gives you 3 attempts to get the highest grade. I recommend studying for exams at least two weeks in advance if you want to pass the class.

Great professor. Cares for her students. Her tests make you think and study for them, but they are straightforward and fair. Lots of assignments, meaning lots of opportunities to get the grade you want. Overall, excellent experience with this class.

Dr. Underwood's Thinking Like an Economist class was very well put together. I wish I had taken this class before taking ECO 3101. This class was very informational and helped me really understand and grasp economic concepts. Her tests are almost exactly like the practice problems and quizzes, so as long as you do those you should pass with ease.

This class was so hard and stressful! The tests are nothing like what youve been learning about. The class is literally so confusing but unfortunately this is the only professor for this course.

Grading is super strict and she follows her specific set of guidlines for grading/due dates. Her tests reflect nothing that you have actually studied or read and they are super confusing. She drops the lowest hw and quiz which is nice, but it's still a difficult course. Unfortunate how she is a the only Macro Teacher at this school.

This was actually one of the most difficult courses I've taken. In my 3rd year & decided to take this, (regret). A quiz each week as well as a homework assignment with 3 attempts. Quizzes and tests are timed you're not able to see correct answers only quiz answers that were wrong. She expects you to know everything without giving formulas or help!!

She has too many resources which you would think its helpful but its overkill! For example, you'll study for a quiz based on her study guides, However; you would find that the quiz are rearranged in a way where its unfamiliar to you and by the time you figure it out, time is up. waste of printed study paper and a waste of time.

She was a very tough grader and since was material was already hard it was difficult to learn online without any zoom lecture. However, she did drop our lowest quiz and homework grade. This class is very time consuming because she gives a homework assignment and quiz every week. Overall, I would not take this class again.

Taking her class during a pandemic has been incredibly discouraging. While I have a good grade in her class, she is very unforgiving regardless of the circumstances, and it seemed as if her tests were meant to trick students rather than actually test their knowledge. Her quizzes and tests rarely aligned with the textbook

Seems to be a nice person however, she was incredibly confusing. She constantly contradicted herself and the textbook. The quizzes and tests NEVER reflected the homework or lectures.

She has to be the least understanding professor of all time. She barely taught anything at all and made her exams so hard and nothing like homework. 65% of your grade comes from the two midterms and final. She also made everyone take their exams at 7AM with no exceptions to that time. Gives you barely enough time in tests and doesnt really care.

This is coming from someone with an A, who loves economics. This teachers quizzes and tests are awful, they are portly written with so many miss leading words for not reason. They dont ask you to apply yourself they just try and use tricky wording or confusing you with similar words so that your confused. Not to mention all the typing errors

This was by far the hardest class I have taken. The test were extremely hard and did not look like the homework or quizzes. I failed this class and will have to take it again after months of struggling to grasp the subject.

This is by far the WORST professor I have ever had in my entire life. I took her for Macro since she is the ONLY professor who teaches this class at UCF, so yes, you are stuck with her. Her exams are extremely hard and you only get 1 min per question. You can't see your correct answers so you just know you failed. No extra credit. Good luck...

This was one of my first classes I had to take at UCF and it was horrible. I had to take it since it is required for my major but I barely made it out alive. The exams are extremely difficult, but maybe since I took it over the summer, it was a lot harder since it was very condensed. I had to rely a lot on the TAs.

Terrible teacher. She grades really heavy and seems like she wants you to retake the class just so she can fail you again.
