Course material is presented in a way that is hard to find. I found it difficult to pay attention because I could not understand the professor as she had a thick accent. Be careful asking a question as she will snap back. She is extremely rude. I dont recommend taking her class.

She is so rude unprovoked especially when students ask her questions so in turn students are afraid to ask questions. She moves very fast through her material. If you email her, dont expect a response. Signed up for a different teacher and a day before the semester started was reassigned to this teacher. Hoping I pass this class.

I never write reviews about professors, but sadly today's that day. My time in her class was just flat out awful. She really doesn't teach and mostly rambles on about the chapters, rather than explaining them. She gets aggravated when asking questions during lectures. She's a waste of time and money. DONT TAKE HER!!

Worst teacher in the world, not joking. My whole class basically dropped with in a week. You can barely understand her. She does not like to help and says "you should know this". In labs you can't ask her if you're right or wrong cause its graded. I'm taking it now with Gary Porter and getting all A's. Sometimes it really is the teacher, stay clear

She hands out the chapters but it's easier to write the extra stuff she writes on the board in those notes. Do the textbook assignments and you should pass. She is willing to answer any of your questions after class. Not a tough teacher

Professor Box is a nice, caring woman who is knowledgeable about her field but is overall a bad instructor. She deflects questions and teaches things as if you have seen them before. You can't solve a problem your own way, even if you get the correct answer. Her math and communication skills are questionable. Nice lady, bad teacher, don't take her.

Lot of infromation in one class, if she could explain a whole semester in one class she would do it. Explanations aren't bad. NO HOMEWORK (she doesn't grade it) Tests: she wants you to make EVERY step math problem. Shortcuts? She will take out points for not doing ALL the work. Overall she's not bad, just listen AND copy every example, it'll help.

Let me just say that this professor is NO help. She assumes everyone understands & keeps moving forward. She'll literally teach 2 chapters in one day "if there's enough time" and yes "15 mins left of class" is enough for her to start a whole new chapter. Not to mention, she's a HARD grader! Haven't learned anything. Take anyone BUT HER!!

This professor assumes everyone understands and does not stop. When you try to speak to her after class she has a question to your questions. Her tests are all open-ended and there is 3 questions within the question. Horrible experience.. do not recommend stay away guys!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TEACHER! I cant understand anything she is saying, she does not explain how to any of the problems, she just does them on the board without teaching it and at the end of the problem the whole class got a different answer than her because she messed up. DO NOT TAKE HER I CANT STREAA ENOUGH

The professor hands out printed notes for all of the chapters learned. She does two class day reviews for the upcoming tests. Homework is optional, but it is given with all the solutions and work shown. Text book is only needed if doing the optional homework. She is easy to understand and her handwriting on the board is clear.

If taking Orgo as refresher, prior A grade, then Prof Box is ok. If it's ur 1st Orgo exp'ce/anything A in a prior Orgo/u work/u have other classes, forget it! Too fast paced. Lectures are about her rewriting handout notes on board & readout. Only 1.5hr for exams & use of her 1 calculator. 12 ch MUST be covered. Teach urself, tutor,use soltns bk

There is a lot of information to learn in chem100 but Dr. Box gives you her notes (not the neatest hand writing but legible!) and goes over them in class, does reviews before tests, drops lowest test score. Test can be hard if you don't study.. so study! Labs are super simple and easy. She's a really great professor!

I have heard that Professor Box is super tough and that her exams are challenging, and those were true statements, but she is there for you. She gives you hand-written notes on each chapter that are great, as well as gives a review session before each exam. The material is extremely tough, but Box does her best to get you through it. Work hard!

One of the best professors ever! Here labs are very interesting, lectures are long but material is very helpful from her notes. Exams are easy if you study from notes and follow the preview. I would recommend this professor to everybody who wants to learn chemistry!
