So much information is covered on tests so it is very difficult to study if you're taking this class as a breadth. Attendance is taken but does not count for much toward the final grade. 3 tests, lowest gets dropped, and a cumulative final. Homework assignments are easy. If you're looking for an easy A, do not take this professor.

One of my favorite science professors by far. Sometimes hard to understand from his accent but really gets into the subject and cracks some pretty good jokes. The class time usually flew by and the exams weren't as hard as I was expecting them to be. Definitely take him for 400 and 401 if you can. He even makes a point to remember your name

One of the best at UD. You need to go to class to understand the subject matter but as long as you pay attention and study you will do well. Exams are very fair and so is he. Some students by the text book but if you understand the content than there is really no need to.

Dr. Fang is so awesome, his lecture and exams are focused on understanding the concepts, understanding the bigger picture of the mechansim. He does not want you to remember nor recite facts rather he would like you to understand why it function that way.

Professor Fang is such a cool dude. He knows his stuff better than any other teacher ive had and is the best teacher ive ever had. His accent is not bad at all and he has good life stories. He always emphasizes having interests beyond just doing things to get grades.

Consistent and usually clear on what he wanted students to know for exams. Did not provide exam prep tools (study guides, old exams), so it was still a bit of a guess as to what exactly he'd emphasize. Cramming works for this class and is very possible to get an A if you do, but you won't end up retaining afterward. Good prof. LISTEN to his words.

Good teacher, wants to see you succeed and do well in his class, and actually learn the material after the semester. Kind of dry at times, but office hours help. Worth taking.

Dr. Fang, its a wonderful professor! I wish there were more professors like him. His class is very straight forward and so are his exams. Attend class EVERYDAY, study his notes, study at least three days prior to the exam, and you can Ace the class easily.

Nice guy, a little difficult to understand because of his Chinese accent, but still the class itself is not hard. He makes it too easy to get an A. Definitely study for the exams, use the his PP slides and book for clarification.

I was a nursing major so I was familiar with a lot of the info that we did in this class so I didn't have to study too hard, so I might be biased. I thought he presented the information clearly and with as much "fun" you can make a intro Nutrition class. Exams are fair and you get credit for doing the quizzes online. I suggest you take him forsure

He's pretty great actually. Everyone else seems to struggle with this class, but with Fang he gives you all of the information and the quizzes you get full credit just for doing them. If you just study the quizzes and the notes you'll do fine, AND he drops the lowest test grade. Also I bought the study guide which helped a lot. Very reasonable guy.

Dr. Fang is the man. He's hard to understand but the class is so easy! If you do the online quizzes and the quizzes at the end of the chapters in the text book before exams, you'll be fine. He gives so much extra credit it's insane AND his diet analysis is much easier than any other teachers. Take this guy.

Everyone is giving him bad reviews, but I loved this class! his accent is a little thick, and the lectures can be kind of tedious but when it comes down to it there's 10 quizzes graded for completion, easy assignments due before each exam and 3 exams and a final, and your lowest exam grade is dropped.
