Daddy Kwun is amazing in all ways. His exams are hard for sure but you need to really study hard. I am sure most of us ended with B and As. He will do whatever it takes to ensure you won't get a C unless it is really that bad. Labs are marked leniently and I enjoyed his class a lot. He is from Caltech so if you want to go to Caltech, take him.

Kwun Cheung is a very chill person. He has funny jokes in class. His labs are also group which is great because it makes the workload of physics much easier. He doesn't grade harsh on labs at all. Only downside are the tests are very hard and difficult. I would cry if I had to take another one of those tests. I really liked him though.

Prof Cheung is a very smart and respectful man. With that being said, he does treat this class as if it were a cal tech class. The exams will be very hard and very calculus heavy. If you cannot spend at the very minimum 10+ hours a week on this class you will not pass. He is pretty lenient with his grading criteria. You will WORK in this class

Really chill. Hard exams but it is manageable if you work hard for it. Labs are handed in by groups and he doesn't bother too much about it. He has an accent so it might take a while but you will get used to it I promise. Exams were heavy on calculus as time passes, with final fully emphasizing on calculus.

Labs are free points if you do it right. Has a heavy accent but his exams are not that hard. Quizzes every week to test on how ready you are. Really lenient and chill in my opinion. However, the exams are either a hit or miss as it is whether you get it or not. Partial credit is lenient. I wouldn't say he is amazing, but he is alright for 4A

Wasn't expecting to pass this course, especially in six weeks. Turns out he's pretty lenient in terms of grading as long as you do/turn in the work. Writing down his lecture example problems helps a lot, especially since they're pretty similar to the midterm problems. Overall pretty stressful, but he's a lot better than what I expected.

I highly do not recommend him for the summer! It is a 6-week course and it is absolutely the worst. I understand physics is a lot but he does not make it easy to understand. There are lots of hw, labs, and quizzes that need to be done. He takes ages for grading so it is so hard to know your actual grade. Exams are hefty. Good luck

Had him for the 6 week summer course, Worse professor I've ever had by far. His teaching is not structured or easy to understand. He is in his own little world sometimes when he is teaching and its hard to understand unless you know the material. He wanted us to meet up with our lab partners to do the lab after class... the class ends at 10PM btw.

MidTerms are what determines your Pass/Fail grade scale. Canvas as the medium to operate your quiz/exams & Mastering Physics is used for Homework, Questions are from lecture but are asked in the most bizarre ways & you wont be able to successfully complete them on time since you spend 90% of the exam time trying to understand what's being asked.

Physics itself is very hard but prof Cheung tries his best to make the subject bearable. His lectures are not hard to understand. But his tests are very hard and lengthy but he's not a tough grader. He's lenient with grading tests, and gives e.c. ALot labs and hw but as long as you try to do them. its free points. One of the better prof at mtsac

Midterm exams are very heavy - split into 3 parts consisting of around 50 questions. Quizzes are extremely hard too even if you study hard. The lecture he teach and the quiz he gave doesn't match up. Homework are also very heavy and he did not use Canvas to give online homework instead he ask us to use Mastering Physics which is extremely bad.

First of all, he use Mastering physics online textbook which is absolutely bad and clunky throughout the whole semester. Second, he gives way too much homework and quizzes. Quizzes are still very hard even if you listened carefully in class. Lastly, you had no idea what you're doing on your lab projects because the instruction is very confusing.

Professor Cheung, in no way shape or form attempts to help you better understand the material. He believe each one of his students are Cal Tech students. There was not any instances during the semester where he didn't skip at least 3 steps when solving a problem. He does mental math for almost all his integrals/problems.

I do not like Professor Cheung for many reasons. One is he grades incredibly slow and does not utilize the most common website that the school uses, Canvas. Another is he was hard to follow in class due to the fact that he seems to think all of his students are Cal Tech Grads. But it is mt sac physics, so he is alright considering that.

His homework, tests, and quizzes match very well. If you aced the homework, you can definitely do well on tests. Study on your own to ace the homework if you have to. The professor knows that it is a hard course so he offered many extra credits, do all of them then you can receive a good 3-4 percents added to your overall grade.

Before taking this class I was worried about how hard physics can be but he honestly made it easier for everyone, he explains everything and welcomes you to ask as many questions as you want. Compared to other physics professor in Mt SAC, he truly is a gem. I wish he taught 4A too.

Difficult class and he doesn't make it easier. We would do labs and then he would lecture (very briefly) on the subject. We often did the labs wrong or had a hard time figuring out what we're supposed to do. Homework is done online almost every day. Quiz once every week. Participation is a MUST. I did not miss one day and barely passed with a C.

I took him for Physics 4A, his lectures are interesting. He makes his own questions for every chapter he covers which makes physics looks more intriguing. (You will understand what I am talking about if you take him). He is a really good professor and very chill.
