Took him for econ II and labor econ (online) and did well in both classes. I would recommend this teacher for anyone needing to take econ. In class he can be a bit monotone but he teaches the material well. Online he is straightforward with what he wants. You have to teach the material yourself but it's really not that bad.

Took Jelavich for Econ 2 and he was amazing! He gave us sample exams and about 90% of the questions were on our exams. He makes economics pretty easy to grasp. His lectures are great!

This guy is very eccentric. A fairly good teacher, and exams are very similar to old exams. Paper sounds like it is going to be challenging, but it's really not. He grades very easy. If you don't have a background in math, this may be tough for you.

I loved econ--until I took this class...spent most of the time during lectures going "huh?" Just hard for me to understand. It got better, but I found it to be a LOT of work just to keep up. The paper did save my grade though, not hard to get a good grade if you follow his directions precisely. Good luck!

I took IB during the summer and would highly recommend anyone doing the same. Class never went the full length. Old tests were on file in the library and the tests he gave were remarkably similar. He is always willing to answer questions and really knew his stuff. I would highly recommend Dr. Jelavich for this class!

Chicken Scratch doesn't even describe his handwriting? I don't know why he has a fascination with graphs, but he sure does. Class is boring and his voice doesn't help it. Okay class if study
