I will never take any course with this professor again. He didn't help anyone, and everyone I spoke to in this class dreaded going.

Dr. Keppler says it like it is on the first day of class. If you come to every class, he notices and gives you a good grade at the end of the semester . If you improve on your exams than you will get a good final grade. Dr. Keppler is really specific on what he wants n his exams, so take notes on the review dates. He was a great professor.

He will assault you with long lectures that feel like never end, then go off on a tangent while lecturing. He makes no sense and does not explain himself, there is no participation and does not speak to his students. He won't even learn your name, he also gives 3 tests with no clear grading system. If you have no choice but to take him good luck.

I took this class to fill my Philosophy requirement, and it might have been the biggest mistake ever. He is strictly lecture based, and provides no notes or powerpoints to help. He reads straight from the textbook, and s just expects you to follow along. He provides nothing to help with tests, and tests are all short answer; grading makes no sense.

Please AVOID taking this man. All he does is stand and lecture. No notes are provided not even powerpoints! You literally can only pass if you read the book and its A LOT of reading. The test reviews weren't that helpful and all exams are short answer. He's a tough grader and always says that you need to "explain further" with no space available..

Took him for an online course and he did not offer a lot of feedback when it came to how to better my papers. It was very difficult to figure out what he was looking for out of my papers. If you can skip him, skip him.

Great teacher. I wasn't interested in philosophy at all but he made it incredibly interesting. The films we watched were excellent, like Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, among others. You definitely need to read, but he picks really interesting topics and gives you a lot of freedom with how to respond. His class was an amazing experience.

Spoke way too fast, hard to keep up. All he does is lectures for the whole class. He doesn't get to know you on a personal basis unless you have a major in philosophy.

Keppler discusses VERY interesting topics, insightful and thought provoking..although his grading style can be tricky if you don't write exactly what he's looking for on the tests. Definitely attend EVERY class..he notices even though doesn't take attendance.

Very opinionated, and seemed extremely closed minded - but at the same time seemed to think that he had an open mind. Class was a waste of time, what I learned to use in tests were taken from 1 minute snippets of an entire class of nonsense talk. This guy really needs to find friends to talk to about his beliefs, and spend more time actually teachi

Dr. Keppler is an atheist and a communist! How a teacher like this makes it in to a classroom is disgraceful! Dr. Keppler would constantly insult Christians during class ("My babysitter is Christian but I don't hold that against her.") Please DO NOT take any of his classes if you don't have to. Look for a more objective and responsible teacher.

omggggg dr keppler is CRAZYY!!! he gives no room for anyone to ever participate so even if you DO like the class...dont plan on getting a word in. plan on using the book ALOT in class and take your own notes that pertain to what he talks about because he never writes on the board. his 3 tests are pretty straight forward but make sure you actuall

He may not be the easiest, but his class is always so lively. He'll ramble on and on about DesCartes, or bring up the same Giraffabil example, but as long as you follow along and reread your notes you'll be thinking like him in no time! (That is, believe it or not, a good thing... )

Oh Keepler. You love him or you hate him. The first class your head may implode due to they way he skips subject to subject. But once you've had several classes with him, he'll love you. He's difficult, but if you put in extra effort, it'll be worth it.

He is not the most easy professor. All his test are essay test. There are three onf them only. The only HW is to read and in order to pass you MUST read. If you can take him in the summer because he is much easier to deal and pass the course then. On the tests write as much as you can because the more you write on the topic the better. Good luck!

Equipped with a Diet Coke every class, this man will either blow your mind or bore you to suicide. He is most likely 80% out of his mind and talks more to himself than the class. However, he is very intelligent and if you care at all you might learn something.

He is CRAZY...but comical lol. Just watch him in class, he will always go to the window and run his hands thru his hair. Also, you must know this, he dislikes God. He will never make sense, don't even bother, just drop the class and take Trewick! But for an old guy, he IS "HOT" if that gets you through the day!!

this guy is teachin himself...he knows what he is talking about just doesn't know how to teach it to others, he's too ahead of himself...talks to fast to take notes, does not make class interesting...you can put down everything he says for review down on a test and he will say it isn't right or isn't enough? i would not suggest taking this class.
