I would highly recomment taking Mr. Ngo class he has an upbeat attitude and his teaching style makes it real easy to understand. He is helpful as long as you are not interrupting him during the lecture especially if its not specifically on whats currently being covered at the moment. I think he only teaches in the summer.

Summer MATH 1: I agree that in office hours, he is a bit aggressive sometimes. Overall an easy professor. Very creative with the form he presents the material. Do your homework and make sure you understand it. He doesn't check if your ans are right/wrong (hw), otherwise you won't get the 10 pts added to your exam. He is retiring I believe.

Calculus 1 in the summer is pretty difficult in the summer. You really have to work on it on a day to day basis, or you'll be screwed. He does curve a bit in the end to help the students, and I like how he graded the hwk. However, I dislike how he goes all over the place on the board, and how strangely aloof and rude he is during office hours.

Mr. Ngo is alright with me. He took over for Ms. Hanhan and I know it was not easy. At first we wanted Ms. Hanhan back but then he grew on us. He is hilarious and passionate about his teaching. I give him 2 thumbs up!

Maurice took over for Ms. Hanhan, and at first no one liked him, he was really hard to understand and his style is SO different, but once we got used to him, we learned he is a GREAT teacher. He explains things in detail, and he gets you to understand. We don't want Hanhan to come back for the final. Take him if you get the chance he is pretty easy

Hey is super sweet and understands if you have personal issues. His test are ok and he does make mistakes but he admits to them. He tells a lot of jokes and he is a cute little guy. Take his class and attend and you will do fine!

took over as a sub for Ms. Hanhan. style is nothing like hers. Writing on the board is near incomprehensible. Can't ask questions without him getting irritable and dismissive bordering on argumentative. Testing style is horrid...all multiple choice with no copy of test provided to learn from mistakes. Doesn't explain things well & is kinda negative

One of the best math teachers out there. I usually don't even listen to the teachers, but couldn't help paying attention to what he said; he is able to be humorous and teach at the same time. Calculus is never easy, so don't expect to just learn everything by listening to him talk, no matter how good he is. You must do your part!

This is a difficult subject, so there is no 'Easy' class, but somehow Mr.Ngo makes math funny and I like going to class. He is very helpful and his lectures keep to the material that students are tested on. It took me a couple tries to get through Math 1 and I have a B in his class. His tests are VERY fair.No surprises.I would highly recommend him.

Fun Class Great teacher. Dont really need to do homework. Will repeat his lesson sometimes in one lecture. Wants you learn. Will let you out early if you finish. Easiest final project ever! Just find someone to share textbook with (saves money) He's a funny teacher: greatest line in a lesson ever "Leslie maybe under some guys" HAHAHA! I loved it =]

Mr. Ngo is a good teacher. He knows his stuff. The only thing I can say is that he goes really fast when teaching something and it is really easy to get lost. Your homework is important cause he counts is toward your test. But overall he is a pretty good teacher.

Ngo knows trig., that's for sure. He's a good teacher. Lots of Homework, tests are just about every week. Stay on the material, do the HW, attend every class... you will do fine. Don't attend with the notion this class is a cake walk. You will learn something here.

This dude can teach. If you have an interest in learning, he is definitely your instructor. First test might be a little frustrating but this can be avoided by reading the questions extremely carefully. He will groom you into becoming a better "test taker". Really explains thoroughly. Also stick to his methods, as tedious as they may be.

He's a great teacher, he really has mastered the art of teaching, he've very organized and his class runs very smoothly. Trig is a hard subject for most students, he makes it understandable and is very smart. I think every teacher should be like him.

A remarkable teacher. This was my second time taking math 4 and passed it with a very good grade b/c he taught the material very well. Please take this teacher if u want to learn. But make sure u study b/c the tests are not too easy. Only the first test was hard but the rest were very fair and he grades fairly, as well. Take mr. Ngo!

very unhelpful..i missed an exam and he never let me make it up and i failed the class just because of that 1 exam.he could be more flexible and helpful.
