She told our entire class we were stupid because we did not understand. When we asked questions, she said we should have learned that in elementary school. I did fine in class, but almost all of the other students in my class failed. She never wanted to help us and never made herself available.

I took Contemporary Concepts in Mathematics online with this instructor, and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't struggle as much as I was thinking I would. Mrs. Olson doesn't communicate very often (if ever) with the students, which is the only thing that bothered me about this class. She always repsonded quickly to my e-mails though.

I managed to get an A in her class, but was one of few to do so. This is a class designed for Elementary Ed majors and you have to pass it to transfer and go on with your major. This, however, didn't seem to matter to her. The notes were spotty, the homework load was laughable, and most students scored a low B or lower on the tests.

A bit stern in the beginning but extremely knowledgeable and willing to help if you want/need it. Would recommend ecsepailly for first math class. Don't be afraid to ask.

She is a really good teacher. I like her teaching method. She's a no bs person, but she makes funny comments a lot. I think she has an overall unhappy face because a lot of people don't like math. I hate math and I thought she was a fair and good teacher. I completely recommend her.

Horrible Teacher! Very stern and doesn't seek to help students. Expects you to remember the material quickly and if you ask questions she'll only answer it if she thinks it's a hard one. Completely bombed this class and it was entirely because of her teaching style.

Not a good teacher. She doesn't go over all the materials and assumes we remember everything, along with going off the topic. She was also rude to me about not going to Student Success day because I was planning a funeral and working. She said it was still considered a class day and that I shouldn't be planning work during school hours.

i loved her! if you sit in the front, come to class (a lot of your grade is attendance), pay attention, take notes, and ask questions (all just like you should in any class), she'll love you back. most people just don't give her a chance because it's math. she's actually a really good teacher and a good person!

The Course Compass program used for this course is ridiculous. She is a horrible professor whose answer for everything is "contact I.T. or get a tutor". She is not there to assist and shows little interest in assisting students. DO NOT BUY THE TEXT BOOK, YOU WILL NOT USE IT. Watch the videos assigned and they'll teach you.

Online and ENTIRELY teach yourself. This class will take up much of your time but you do have the option to technically be done with it when you complete everything at your own pace. There are deadlines though but not unreasonable. Tests will have 2 to 3 questions that will not be covered so beware as they cannot be prepared for. A doable class

She thinks she is all-powerful because she has a Ph.D. Newsflash, lady, you're not good at teaching! If you take her, you need to teach yourself all the material, and you MUST SHOW UP TO CLASS! Daily grades are important, and you have to do the assignments to really understand what's going on, because you'll never understand what she tells you.

I think she's been teaching so long that she's developed a bad attitude toward students. I don't think she was fair to many and you'll get a lot of worthless extra credit homework at the end of class -which pulls on your grade a lot- if you don't attend regularly- even if you get A's on tests. I would not recommend this teacher.

Very poor teacher, doesnt care if her students get it or not, she has a schedule to follow and she will not make revisions. class average on one test was 62% and she refused to revisit the material. Not a very nice person at all

Absolutely horrible. I had her for college Algebra and if you like to teach yourself this subject than I recommend this unfriendly woman. Why this woman chose to teach is beyond me....I have to assume she hates doing it because she is not good at it.

She was mean. I knew a person who's dad was in the hospital and she wouldn't let him make up daily grade, and he had communicated with her that he wasn't going to be in class.
