Truly caring professor who goes out of his way to help students. He's accommodating and patient, which is really something given that I took his class in the summer when its pretty condensed. Passionate. The material itself can be a bit dense so make so to review the videos and lectures he provides.

Ron is a fantastic professor. He cares about each individual student and he's passionate about design. COMM 380 can be a difficult class if you aren't comfortable with the Adobe Creative Cloud. 6 Projects, final exam, and lots of in-class assignments. Attend class and you'll do great. I recommend taking this class, you'll learn a lot.

Professor Ron's class was so much fun to take! We met once a week for 50 minutes and attendance counts! This class is heavily project-based so make sure you know how to use the programs and keep up with the lectures. You can always send in your assignment to him prior to the due date and he'll give you feedback so you can make any changes you need!

Two 25-ques exams and 5 projects. I urge everyone to race for a spot in his class! He's the best teacher of the 3 that teaches it. Its a hybrid class and only meets 50 min/week. He doesnt waste a second of it so pay attention and follow quickly with demonstrations. He'd go over the basics and just teach yourself the "fancy" techniques from youtube.

I was nervous for his class because I didn't know anything about adobe programs. You absolutely do not need design program experience before this class. I feel proficient enough to list Adobe software on my resume now and no one could have taught me better than Ron. I took a late class with him, I never felt bored and stayed awake the entire time.

If you want to work in the industry, this class is a MUST! You will learn everything you need to know about adobe suit and have a BLAST doing it. I've never met a professor that engages and cares so much about the success of his students. You definitely work for your grade, but the workload is very fun and meaningful to understanding the programs.

Make sure you are familiar with a mac before you take this class. The whole class is taught on a mac. He's a relitively tough grader. He only gives 5 A's for each project and it's usually the people who have mac's at home and are really good at Illustrator and Photoshop. .

if taking web design with this teacher dont expect much time to do anything else with your life. taught the class the basics & his expectations on the quality of your coding & functionality was unreasonable. count on spending countless hours on end working & expect points to be taken off for the littlest things. most work will not be done in class.

Definitely take this class if you have little to no knowledge on how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.

This class he teaches is very fun and informative. Thoroughly hate his grading style. You can work your but off on a project but if he doesn't like your idea you wont receive a good grade. It's not fair to those that know adobe photoshop and illustrator better than you coming into the class. But you learn allot of good stuff.
