Professor Horne is a great professor. He's very vey educated and knows what he is talking about. He is also helpful and easy to be approached. He is by far one of my favorite professors at the university. He is willing to help you in and outside of class, he's gives extra credit, and he curves grades. Take professor Horne for an easy A!!!

Pros: Easy class, only 1 HW assignment (list of reps.), take-home midterm and final Cons: Prof is a bit unorganized, test questions weren't always clear, he's often late for class. Grade is based on 2 quizzes, 1 midterm, 1 final, list of reps, and knowing first 10 amendments (either by reciting in front of class or taking a test). He

If you're not able to adapt to a professor who solely bases his tests on lectures then do not take him. He's not hard at all and is understandable and wants his students to pass. His tests are long but all he really cares about is you passing the final and you should pass the class. Attendance isn't mandatory but why pay for a class and not show up

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! The whole semester i was worried about my grade. There was only 3 quizzes , a midterm (take home), final (take home). I did not get to see what grade i got on his quizzes but the midterm i got a B. He is horrible!! Horne does not stay on topic. He just speaks in his class and is also late everyday

Dr David Horne is a fantastic instructor and loves teaching. He makes the class interesting and doesn't' allow you to be lazy he strongly encourages education and explains the consequences if you feel you can't go on

Professor Hornes class consists of 2 quizzes, 1 midterm (take home)amendments test, List of reps and a final(take home). just study and you should be fine. does give extra credit. his lectures are boring. attendance is not really mandatory. pretty easy class and chill. take him if you just don't want to fail.

Yooo bro OMG take this class! I went to class once a week and got D's on all the tests I thought I was going to fail. ALL BUT ONE test was take home, including the final. He does sometimes get off topic but if you check him about it he will correct himself. Im not sure what I got on the final but I ended up getting a B.

You can tell Professor Horne is very knowledgeable but I don't think he is a good teacher. His lectures are hard to follow and very unclear. The tests were manageable with lots of reading and he does give extra credit. I got a C on my tests, did the extra credit assignments and passed his final - which is reciting the 10 amendments. Got an A ..

I took this class in order to complete my GE's so it turned out to be great. As long as you show you're trying and turning in quizzes, and tests you'll pass . Though it was very confusing at times, as long as you showed you're trying you're hardest you'll pass with at least a B. He's a very laid back individual and helps whenever anyone would ask.

If you want an A, DO NOT take this class because you can do all the extra credit and the grades are still really iffy. He is not a straightforward teacher, very wishy washy. If you have a hard time following, take another teacher because you would be able to understand better. If you're just looking not to fail, take this class!

He is incredibly smart and full of so much knowledge. He wants his students to know their rights and how they can use the government to their benefit. Super laidback and he gives a ton of EC opportunities, it is impossible to fail, just show up to class and study for tests and quizzes.

This is an awesome professor. He is very intelligent. He wants you to be well equipped for the real world which sometimes causes him to go off on a tangent and discuss News or politics, which is very important to know. He does give E.C opportunities, do all E.C. He is very COOL.

If I would have none what I was getting myself into when I signed up for this class I would have never taken it. He never defends the things he says. He knows so much about this topic but when it comes to teaching its honestly useless. I probably went to class like half the semester and did 50% of the work got D's and F's on the test and got a B.

This man knows soooo much and he is a good/funny person but he cannot teach. yes he comes into class extremely late maybe 30+ min and expects to cram the lecture with the remaining time left. quizes are 65 questions including matching. The class could be better take him if you have to not if you really want to learn.
