Comment:

I had him for two classes and he is definitely one of my favorite professors. He allows cheat sheets on every test and will give you an extra grade bump if you have them for the first ten chapters. His tests are easy, all you have to do is read the chapter. If you fail, you're probably lazy and have bad habits. It helps if you go to office hrs.

Professor G is an amazing teacher. I took his summer class and he is super kind as well as caring. You do have a test almost everyday so this class does take a good portion of your time. Read the chapters from the textbook! Theres extra credit. If you read the chapters and can retain information the tests are ok.

Took his summer environmental science class. Hes a great professor, but there was just too much homework and too many tests. Its almost impossible to get an A if you have a job or take another class during his summer intersession. Maybe his regular semester courses are better?

Theres weekly tests & you can use study aid if you do the hw for the chapter. You have to read & study his PowerPoints to have a good chance on his tests. He hardly follows his syllabus, so sometimes you must remind him whats on there. 1 research paper & 100 extra credit points offered in class which are doing the hw for the 1st 10 chapters.

The worst professor Ive taken for my 6 week summer intercession. Tests every single day (15 test), 6 hour class, hw everyday, gotta read & study everyday with all very little time. Only good thing was 100 extra points (first 10 chapters of hw) & study aid for tests only if hw was done for the chapter. 1 PowerPoint presentation & Labs were cool.

He is nice and caring professor. However, there are a huge of tests during the semester. Moreover, book is important because the tests cover almost everything on the book. Recommend for someone who actually loves biology :) (I'm not)

Mr. Gonzalez is a great lecturer. He keeps you interested with stories and knowledge. Labs are fun and Mr. Gonzalez keeps it interesting, so you want to learn. He is highly personable, and will give you every bit of help that you need and more. His tests are not easy, however he does occasionally let you use study aids. I recommend this class.

Mr. Gonzalez has to be my absolute favorite instructor at EVC! His lectures are really helpful in the assignments he gives so pay attention. Also, he relates everything he teaches you to your everyday life so you get a better understanding of the material. Pleeasseee take his summer env10 class! He took us on an awesome camping trip to Santa Cruz!

I'm glad I took this class cuz I got some college experience. The summer course felt very fast and we did about 1 chapter a day. He started assigning homework at the beginning and it wasn't that hard just vocab and reading questions; near halfway through he made homework optional. Overall this class was the easiest thing ever. I got an A 96%

i am taking summer class 2017, right now sitting in his class. when I first started it was hard cause I am one another class too but after few classes I got the motion. Professor is really great, homeworks are easy too and the lab assignment are also easy points. He really want you to learn something in his class. take him

Obviously summer classes are harder, so going in know that this class is not for the weak! He is a great teacher, assigns lots of hmw but it is eaaaasy work! You work hard for your grade. Started the summer'17 semester with 20+ people and now we only have about 16 people.

Very easy online course. However what will might screw you over is that the schedule for online quizzes are never fixed. They will open at random times and close at random times. It happened to me once because the quiz opened like 1 week after it was supposed to be open and closed without me knowing. Also quiz answers are sometimes wrong.

I just graduated and he is the worst professor I've had in community college career. Super unorganized, takes forever to do grading, and tests are all over the place with questions that don't make sense. He had even asked me to let him know which questions on the test weren't clear. That's not my job. That's his.

This class shouldn't have been so hard, class participation is required. He posted assignments and tests on Moodle however he never updated it on time and as a matter of fact, we had to ask another teacher to help us. He was not clear on assignments, but very clear on expectations. He is EGO is bigger than his teaching skills.

You have to read the assigned chapter in order to pass the tests. Tests are usually 60 plus questions. The class consisted of a powerpoint presentation worth 100 points and a final exam that consisted of 200 questions. He dosen't take atendance so as long as you know the test dates your good.
