Professor Green is all business but caring and responsive. If you're having trouble, reach out right away and you'll get the help you need. Trauma is a difficult subject to teach and to take, and she guides you through this material sensitively and appropriately. I'd take her again in a heartbeat.

Sue Green has quite the reputation at UB but please, take at least one of her courses and you will see that she is AMAZING! I look forward to her class each week and I always wish it was longer. She is emphatic, knowledgeable, and cares about the content she teaches, as well as her students. One of the BEST professors I have had at UB.

What a reputation! From terror -"intimated respect"-respect over the semester. Her b.s. meter is spot on, and she will NOT spell it out- she wants us to figure it out, and WE CAN! Pet peeves: whining/repeat questions. She loves to see ppl challenge themselves. Upped my confidence/risktaking/discipline, and I can't thank her enough!

You never know what you are going to get. Proceed with caution. She is very intelligent and at at times can really get to the core of an issue. She knows her TIC! Other times, she can be manipulative and plays a power game. She does not walk her talk /evades responsibility. Directions/expectations change frequently. Much better options available!

She is my favorite professor so far. I have never worked so hard and learned so much in a matter of just 10 short weeks. I would take any class with her. She grades harshly but if you put in the time and effort, you can expect a grade to reflect that. She is intimidating, but an amazing professor who pushes you to your limits, and praises after

I took this professor for Interventions I & a different professor for Interventions II. I couldn't have been happier with the switch. I find "rip you a new face" & "not for the weak" rather disturbing descriptors for a graduate-level professor in Social Work. She sounds more like a football coach.

One of the toughest teachers I've ever had! It definetly was a love hate relationship, but I can't deny her passion and intelligence. I have learned so much and definitely have grown as a student. Although she is not for the weak, I recommend at least one class with her. She a good professor, forces you to critically think and demands the best.

Sue is definitely one of those professors who will challenged you, in a good way. She will make you think critically and expand your thinking. She may come off as tough but she is very warm and nice. She is one professor who you have to take for at least one class. I highly recommend her. She will make you a better person and social worker.

i enjoy sue alot i had her 4 many of my classes i had her 4 diversity in spring 2010 which was run really well. i enjoy the setup. you may have alot of work but it is doable and she is quite understanding. she may challenge your opinions and can be tough on you but other than that she is cool peeps. i would recommend her.

Sue is very critical. I have never felt so incompetent before in my life. She makes you question yourself and it is really rough to be around her. She does push you to new and exceedingly difficult levels, especially when you are not ready for it. She expects you to know your stuff no matter what. Excuses do not fly with her. she is difficult

Sue was very condescending and mean. Very critical. If she does not like you writing style you will suffer for the entire semester. I worked with another student on a paper and we had very similar ideas and outline. I got a 50% and my friend got a 95%. Very inconsistent in grading and clarity for assignments was terrible.
