His lectures are soooo boring, luckily he posts all his notes online and they're good notes. ur mark is based off of 2 assignments, a midterm and a final. The assignments r hard, but he marks them easy. The assignments r due 3 days before each exam so basically its a study guide. Plus he's so old he has no idea if u go everyday or once a semester

He is a nice man but a horrible professor. My advice is to read the book (his power points are useless), look over assignments, and get yourself a tutor.

He is one of the hardest professors I've had. his assignments are hard but he marks them fairly easy, his tests and exams are extremely hard and he is a hard marker. Make sure you explain why and how everything happens as he wants you to know all the basics and the new material he will present. If you really want to learn take a class with him!

This professor was extremely difficult and hard to understand sometimes. Very nice guy, but he makes his assignment very unclear and I found the tests to be nothing like what he spoke about during his lectures. I took macro before this and got an A and micro was suppose to be easier but not with him.

If you really want a great foundation in Macroeconomics, this guy really helped me out. The first half I struggled and failed mid term. He advised to drop it. I bounced back and ended up with a C+. It was difficult, but I learned a lot and learned how to study properly. This was a challenging course, but worth while.

Terrible prof. Do yourself a favour now and get out of his class!! Gives really hard assignments, tests are weighted wayyy out of proportion. Not to mention he doesn't teach you anything in actual class. I taught myself everything in this course. Seriously awful.

This class is a nightmare for first year students. Just don't take it with Taheri, simple as that. Most people end up failing ,dropping, or getting D's. Have fun freshman students.

Quizzes and assignments are hard but the tests aren't the end of the world. Definitely makes the course material harder than it needs to be so I would not take another course with him. Nice guy but a bad prof.

Worst prof ever. Hard beyond reason, impossible to understand and dodges all questions. The pop quizzes are ridiculous, the midterm was way harder, and the final was stupidly hard. My friends had other profs, and I knew my material ten times better yet received a much lower grade in the end, dropping my gpa.

I am an extremely diligent and serious student, but I was not good enough for this guy. If you are deemed unworthy of his knowledge you will not receive any help or answers, in or out of the lecture. I withdrew after receiving 65% on the midterm, retook the class and received an A+ overall. I then went on to earn an A at the advanced level.

I don't understand where all the hate is coming from. He follows the powerpoints from the textbook, but explains things very, very clearly. He's a sweet guy and sometimes funny, but he doesn't spoon-feed you. He takes his time going through the lectures and makes it fairly interesting.

Horrible prof. Extremely difficult pop quizzes, near impossible midterms, and a difficult exam. I loved this course in high school, but when I took this course I almost lost in pursuing a degree in economics, but after taking Macro economics with a different prof I liked economics again. AVOID this prof at all costs.

Nice guy with some ridiculous examples but not helpful teacher. He will avoid all questions you ask if he can and takes all of his multiple choice for midterm and exam from a study guide in the library with impossible to understand questions. I taught myself the last few chapters from reading the book not going to class...

Extremely difficult exams. Talks around your questions, reiterating the same thing over and over. Very unclear. Not helpful at all. I am very interested in this topic, knew the text inside-out, and still did very poorly.

I believe he chose the wrong profession. He should have been a politician. Amazing ability to dance around any question and not really answer it.
