Professor Gram was a great teacher. At first I was scared at what we would have to do in his class, but in the end I not only learned things that I still use today but also will continue to use (classical conditioning) He honestly does care about his students, he will help and make sure you understand. Take his class he is not boring at all! Funny!

Dr. Gram was a good teacher, and he was the most "fun" teacher I've had so far. He is exciting every time you come to class, and the tests arent very hard. He is one of the best teachers I have had, mainly because of how interesting he and his class were. Unfortunately I believe the class I was in was the last class he taught before retiring.

When I began Dr. Gram's Intro to Psych class, I had a feeling he would be wasting a lot of my time. I found him difficult to listen to. He flies through powerpoints, so taking notes on those is pointless. A couple things that were good were the videos he showed (very interesting), and his lectures were very active. You will def. need the book

I was the youngest in my class and i got the 2nd highest grade. High school student here. 1st off, read the chapters he assigns. 2nd, do the online quizzes and extra quizzes he sends you. And 3rd, actually talk to him. I got a 93 and it was because I worked hard. Don't play and you'll pass. (: I love Gram! He's really cool once you talk to him!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! This professor does not explain ANYTHING! I had 3 zeros in his class because misplaced my assignments and made me look through a stack of papers to find them. He also singles students out. To pass the class you have to ignore his lectures and teach yourself out of the book.

Please do NOT take this class. If you want to pass this class you will need the books. He's lectures have nothing to do w/ the test, and when someone points it out he gets mad. He is so disorganized. We took test in September and he didn't find them tell December. He doesn't explain things. He expects you to know what he is already talking about.

good class. you can't get below a 50 on a test due to a pretest, that gives you the answers. you would have to TRY to fail this class. His lectures are intresting and he chanlleges you to think outside the box. although he is a little unorganized with due dates. i would recomend for non-majors!

Dr. Gram was a great professor! It is true, you do need to keep extra copies of all your work and record your test grades, but overall if you read the text and watch the videos, the test material IS ALL THERE! He gives lots of opportunities for improvement and tons of extra credit. The busy work improves time management skills-use it!!!!!

Learned alot in the class just none of it was on the tests. The lectures are pointless. Don't even try to take notes from them since he goes so fast through the slides. The tests are really hard. Use the questions that he emails you, it makes them a little easier.

By far the worst professor I have ever had!! Good Class, however he personally teaches you nothing, you learn it all on you own. Also gives a 10 page research paper worth a total of 10% of your grade, completely pointless. He is full of himself, rude, and makes no sense whatsoever. Good Class worthless professor

ok So I was definately not impressed with this teacher.. The highest grade on his test in the whole class was like a 20..he put on static from the tv sound during his test, he made us go to the mall with paint all over our face to ask people where the bathroom was...and no matter how much you study you'll be happy to get a 20 on his test.

I have one more tip for studying in his class. I suggest working with a friend who's also in that class and making flashcards of all the key words and important things (such as mental disorder types and things like that). These will really help you on the tests, but I would also recommend at least skimming through the textbook.

(continues from previous comment) - I would also recommend coming to class because he'll do completely random thing, then put them on a few questions of the test. I brought my laptop to class and sat in the back taking notes from the book, it's a MUCH better use of class time. The tests are based on the book, not what he talks about in class.

I'll start off by saying that no matter what anyone says, you should take this class. You'll learn a lot about psychology weather you start out interested in it or not. He is lazy and won't keep up with the work but everything he forgets will be due at the end of the session, but I would definately keep up with it. (continues in next comment)

Dr. Gram is a rude and lazy man. There is no need to go to class unless you want to listen to him ramble. If you take this class be ready to read the entire textbook to pass the class. Also make sure you keep up with your work you turn in because he will not!!!
