I recommend highly this professor. The lecture is easy bc he made his notes for the most important information! Exams are Straight questions from the notes! He recorded his explanations which make you feel like you are in the class! Exam are easy if you read at least 2 times the notes and videos! I got A! Quizlet wont help you!READ NOTES 2h/chapt

Dr. Derrickson is caring about his students and he does his best to make sure that you are understanding the topics that he is teaching. He is good at explaining the tough content, but this class is a lot of content meaning so you must study. But he is great at setting you up for success and one can tell how he loves teaching the content.

I really enjoyed Dr. Derrickson's class in its entirety. I don't feel like there was so much work that it couldn't be managed, but it was a class where I had to do things outside of class to fully understand the material because there was so much content. It moves fast but is enjoyable!

If you're in A&P 2 you already have an idea from A&P 1. Yes, it is a decent amount of work but Dr. Derrickson is great because of how organized he is. He only asks test questions from his notes which is wonderful because you don't need the book. To get in A know everything in the notes (HINT: INCLUDING DISEASES!). No surprises.

Derrickson is very chill. No required Zoom meetings or anything like that. He co-authored the book, so he posts the notes for you as well as an audio-recording for you to listen to and go over. 6 exams, 2 discussion posts and some lab simulations along with question sets for a grade. He's a super low maintenance guy and definitely willing to help.

I took Professor Derrickson online for A&P II. Tests are online and easy (you don't need to install the lockdown browser), question set assignments are graded for completion, Cooperative, understanding, and responds to emails quick. Highly recommend!

I could've gotten an A in his class but I was also taking Micro at the same time (NEVER DO THAT). He is caring and will give you full credit for any missed assignments if you communicate with him. He only grades exams and gives 100% for lab sets as long as you do them. All exams are based on his pdf notes. If you fail his class, it's your fault.

I took professor Bryan Derrickson for AP2 summer online class its only grades are Exams it is 50 questions and it is timed each time 50 min you can not pause or save tests it has to be done in one sitting. He does not give extra credit so if you mess up 2 exams you basically already fail If you are able to do well on time test take him.

This is a science course, so of course it was a lot of infor at once. He gives you all the presentations and powerpoints as soon the course opens, so it's up to you to study whatever he doesn't go over in class. The tests are usually multiple choice and cover 2-3 chapters, and you have to label 2-3 diagrams that was gone over in class. STUDY!!!!!!!

Your only grades are your exam grades,so if you do bad on 1 exam, it ruins your grade. I did bad on 1 exam and my grade was a C- and I had to WD bc he told us if we dont have a grade we want we should drop bc its only going to get harder (never offered any help) I retook this class the next semester with a different teacher and got an A .

He is by far the best science teacher I have ever had. A & P 2 with him was awesome. You need to go to class and study every inch of his notes because thats what the exams are on. He is so good at explaining the most complex of concepts! Right when you walk in, the love he has for the topic rubs off on you. Study the notes and the Pictures in TB!

Professor Derrickson Is very nice and he knows his stuff ! Which means you have to know your stuff as well, his tests are very specific you either know it or you don't! Study his lecture notes everyday at LEAST for an hour or two study the labeling, you will be fine.

Professor Derrickson is the best instructor Ive ever had. He explained things clearly to make sure everyone understand the materials. I usually procrastinate when I come to class but couldnt in his class because he made the lecture so interesting and hes also a funny professor. He provided his condensed notes which helped A LOT.

Amazing professor!!!The only person who had helped me clearly understand cellular respiration!!! I basically just started memorizing everything a few pages at a time until I knew it by heart.I cried in the middle of the semester but I changed my approach to studying and ended up with my A!!!

Dr. Derrickson is a truly brilliant professor. His lectures are easy to follow and he teaches the material really well. There can be overwhelming amt of information on the materials covered, but his tests are fairly easy. Just know the main points and study the various diagrams provided and you should do fine. Dr. Derrickson is THE BEST. He makes class super fun, interesting and informative. He reviews EVERYTHING which is great especially since we don't have a class with him daily. The material he teaches is not easy but his teaching method is where you will actually learn something and hopefully pass. Im so sad the semester is over. 100% recommended!

YOU WILL NOT FALL ASLEEP IN THIS CLASS. He is very funny and completely loves his job, you can tell. There are 5 exams and that is the bases of your grade. Literally, all you have to do is study with your classmates and pass! There is NO homework or stress. He is very sensitive however about being on your phone, talking, and using the bathroom.

Dr. Derrickson is phenomenal!! He knows a 100% of the subjects he lectures. Not the easiest class but if you show up, listen to the lectures and study you'll get the grade you want!
