Would NOT recommend her. She always leaves very harsh/nasty comments on graded work. Be ready to rely on google, she does not give good directions. What you are looking for vs how to actually do something are two different things. Hard to raise your grade. If you do good- hardly raises it, do bad- brings it WAY down and hard to get it back up.

Wendy Eddy is hands down one of my favorite professors ever! She really does want you to succeed but get ready to do some reading. You have quizzes over the readings, but most of the time they are group quizzes. You have four papers all together and she gives you plenty of time to plan ahead :)

Very very nice and understanding. Will respond to emails thoroughly and super fast. BE AWARE THAT THE FORMAL PAPERS WILL DETERMINE YOUR GRADE. I thought I could get away without putting a ton of work into the formal papers but they dramatically effected my grade. You read a lot of articles there was no book.

Professor Eddy is my favorite up to this point. Her feedback is constructive and motivating. She is easy to get a hold of via email and will work with you on deadlines if something serious comes up. Be prepared to WRITE, as she will put you through your paces. Overall, I learned so much and am a little less scared of composing papers.

Just average. She wasn't bad nor good. The only problem I had is that I found that her sheets (commas, verbs, etc and their quizzes) had discrepancies from what I had learned in highschool (took this summer before junior year) so that was confusing but I got good grades and feedback on my paper. I would take her again. Do the work and you'll pass.

I've been a straight-A student in English my whole life, I was expecting this to be easy and it should have been. The work was easy but boring. At the end of the course after doing one essay, following her instructions, my grade dropped to an F. I was shocked, angry, and never given a good reason. Had to drop the course near the end unfortunately.

If you don't like a lot of work, do not take her. Assigns about four assignments each week, all due on Sunday. A lot of reading also.

This professor gives good feedback, but is a tough grader. The main thing I didnt like was our theme was criminal injustice (which was actually interesting) but it became a criminal injustice class, not an English class. I did not learn a single thing about essay structure or anything related to English writing, but I learned a lot about cases /law

Wendy is an amazing teacher. She is fun and very approachable (she sat on a desk criss cross applesauce all semester). She is so sweet and very helpful if you go to her with questions. Be prepared for a lot of group projects and discussion.

Wendy Eddy is a wonderful teacher, she is undertanding and makes everything clear. She grades fast and gets back to you very fast. Even being an online class she is very persoanlable and does everything possible to make sure you succeed. There's lots of reading and papers, but I feel she made it fun and interesting. This has been my favorite class.

I loved this class. She prepares you well for future essays and exams. The class has about the usual level of work but is easy to do if you keep up with it. She gives excellent feedback on essays so it is easy to do well on them.

One of the best professors. She gets right to the point and does not leave out details. A truly well-spoken individual. Be prepared to do work. Every bit of work I did felt meaningful and deliberately assigned. This professor is a true gem! Also, take advantage of her proofreads. She will tell you everything wrong with your essay BEFORE you submit

I cannot say enough good about Professor Eddy! LOVED taking her online Comp 1 class. She is EXTREMELY kind, gives great feedback, responds to emails super fast, grades in a very timely fashion, VERY organized, and makes the class enjoyable! Wish she was doing Comp2 next semester!

Mrs. Eddy is a very sweet person. She will proofread your assignments for you and make corrections/suggestions BEFORE you officially turn them in. She is passionate about teaching and truly wants her students to succeed. This class was extremely fun because she put us into groups, and most of our in-class work was group effort.

Wendy is the best Comp professor in the world. I had her for both Comp 1 and 2. I hate reading and writing, but she made it fun and enjoyable. I am a much better writer thanks to her. She wants students to succeed and will spend her time outside of class to make sure it happens. You can set up appointments with her before papers are due.

Wendy is by far the BEST professor ive ever had at TCC. I took her for both comp 1 & 2. She is the sweetest & more fair teacher at tcc, guaranteed. She helped me to realize English was my true passion!! 10/10 recommend her!
