I took Prof Lawson's PSY101 class in Fall 2020 and there wasn't anything special except: Read textbook. Write about it in discussion board. Take quizzes. Watch videos + write about it. There's no lecture or really much personal input from the professor. If you prefer learning from the textbook, then I recommend this class.

Professor Lawson is amazing! His course material is extremely understandable and relatable. He is an incredible professor and he is accessible and communicates well regarding questions and homework. He is by far one of the best professors I have ever had! Take this class, it will be worth it!

Makes every concept relatable. He is very open about his life and you will end up knowing him very well. Super sarcastic and easy going. Get the book, go to class, have fun, and you will have a good grade. Definitely take him if you can :)

Was boring! Taken the fact I work a graveyard shift, Ive taken morning classes after work and I was able to make it through the 3 hours! But his sense of humor was off beat and just made snooze the whole class. Very caring and passionate about his students. Open book test.

Professor Lawson was definitely one of my favorite professors this semester ! He makes a 3 hour class go by super quickly with his hilarious anecdotes that relate to the lectures ! 10/10

I was nervous going into Behavior Stats or PSYC 258 at Miramar College. Never had a solid foundation in mathematic, however Professor Lawson does his best to give everyone a shot at moving forward from PSYC 258. You will have to do your reading on the Chps. however he gives you in depth info on what to expect on the test and reviews every chapter!

Amazing teacher! Anything to do with math is really hard for me to learn and understand but he is so nice and cares about the students so he always offers help and extra credit and wants to make it easy for everyone. He made psych stats painless and manageable! 10/10

right off the bat, you can tell that he has a unique sense of humor, can easily relate lectures into real-life situations. Really easy going professor 10/10 would recommend if you are looking to take a psychology class

This class was alot of fun. He makes the lectures fun to listen to and easy join. Tell lots of stories that relate to the topic at hand. He's there to teach not too grade so showing up and participating are a sure way to pass yhe class with an A or B.
