He is one of those teachers either super easy or super hard. To me it was super hard. I used to be an A+ student in math and i never felt so behind in a class. HIRE A TUTOR. That was the only thing that helped me pass at the end. Luckily for everyone out there he just retired. Grade is only dependent on tests.

Maybe it's because it is his last semester at OCC. But I have had the HARDEST time understanding calculus. He seems to just go through examples instead of teaching concepts. Almost the entire first half of the class is dedicated to questions from the class. The book sucks. The examples are easy and the homework is 10x harder.

Uncle Bill is hilarious. This course is known to be more demanding and he turns it into a blast. Do the homework and go to office hours at least once; getting to know him goes a long way.

He's the type of professor that takes time to warm up to. You may have to take each of his classes two or three times over again to pass but DON'T WORRY most students do anyways. Best way to pass his classes is to treat each one like it's two classes and to ask questions during classoffice hours. Also helps to get to know him on a personal level.

He's one of the coolest math prof. @ OCC! I took the 10 week course with him. Really laid back in my opinion. if you don't hate math, this class should be easy for you as long as you show up and pay attention. He usually crack some jokes during lectures, so it's not boring at all. However, be prepared for finals bc it's harder than other tests.

Prof Bill (Will) is a very good teacher, he has been teaching for years and has experience. I haven't taken math for 2 years since high school, I was afraid of taking this class not knowing anything but Prof Bill is very clear on the material he is teaching and stays 30 minutes after class just to help you. I would take this class again.

Uncle Bill was an awesome teacher. He cracks dumbest jokes, but somewhat funny. He is really easy going. Before tests he would review(recommend to attend, really helps) Bill was a caring man. The tests are real simple; if you do the HW, you're solid for an A.

The other ratings I read of him are not very accurate at all.... McClure is a funny and outgoing teacher that makes it fun, but he's very hard, he claims partial credit on things but it's nothing, and he grades very hard.... Instead of that he is helpful.... But be careful!!!

Bill is such a caring and hard working professor! He really tries to make sure his students succeed, but that does NOT mean this is an easy class. I have no idea why his easy rating is so high. A ton of our class failed exams and even dropped the class. I did get an A but had to STUDY! If you think you won't have to you're in for a rude awakening!

Bill is Awesome! Probably one of the best math teachers I've had so far. He's super clear on all the material and he even does a review before every test which basically tells you whats going to be on the test and what to study. 5 exams, 1 random homework assignment collected at every exam. really straightforward class !!

Bill McClure was an awesome precalc teacher! Standard amt of hw with a random assignment to grade per homework packet. He doubles your highest exam grade and is very very thorough in his teaching and examples. He goes through the hw problems each day and will take the time to explain if you don't understand. Stays 30 min after class ends every day

Best professor I have ever had in my entire life. 4 exams- doubles your highest score, hw points added to test score. The exams are STRAIGHT from class notes, so it is very important to come to class. All tests handwritten, but he is very generous with partial credit! Class before test he reviews exactly what will be on test. VERY fair!! LOVE HIM

also known as "bill mcclure" on this website...BEST TEACHER I have ever had! Impossible to fail, 5 exams, drops lowest score, doubles your highest score, and if you miss a test he can double your final score instead (not cumulative). Literally the nicest and most helpful teacher I have ever had in my entire life. All teachers should be like him

One of the easiest classes I've taken. The book is totally unnecessary. He teaches you everything you need to know. The tests are basically the examples with numbers changed.

Best professor I've had!3 exams plus a final,doubles your highest score.Allowed to miss a test&have your final double instead.Homework load is very light,collects it on day of test.Attendance not mandatory, however test is completely from class notes,study review class before test, tells you EXACTLY what will be on test.Tells jokes a lot.Easy class

Great guy, great teacher. Makes the subject interesting with personal anecdotes and silly jokes. One thing I appreciated about him that stood out was his personality very down to earth unlike other professors who sometimes have an arrogance to them. If you can take him you will not regret it. Learn & Laugh :)

Great guy. Explains things very thoroughly. Will improve your math skills. 4 Exams. 19 questions each @ 5pnts, 10 pnts EC, 105/100 pnts possible. Counts highest score twice. Best math teacher I have ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
