I had a great experience with this professor. Everything was online, there were 3 discussion boards and tests every week, but it was clear what we were meant to study and what was expected on the discussion boards. There was some issue with communication as it took forever to get a response, but there would be a response. A great professor!

I took this Soc Stats class at the BA campus and it was the first time Soc Stats has ever clicked and made sense to me. If I hadn't had distractions that kept me out of class that semester, I would've passed with flying colors. Dr. K was very patient with us and gave many chances to review the material and understand it thoroughly. Just show up.

WORST PROFESSOR NSU HAS!!! I wish I looked at these reviews before took his class. If you have any questions you are better off not even asking him because if you do he will respond rudely. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Test every single week that is not graded fairly. You can read the answer from the book, and it will be still be wrong. Tests cannot be made up. Never failed a class in my life. SMH..... Really hurts my excellent GPA.

Test every single week. That is it. You can read the answer straight from the book, and it will still be graded wrong. If you miss a test, you cannot make it up, and it greatly affects your grade. I have never made a "D" in my life, and I am a senior!

Took him for Social Stratification, B and Sociological Theory, C. Only grades are 3 tests and a 6 page paper. Discussions are required but not counted for grade. Make sure you look at which study guide you are studying before taking the test. Lucked out with a C for this course.

This class was taken during the spring intersession so it was faster than a usual class. The homework was reading and taking quizzes and they were not timed. You had a certain amount of time to read certain chapters then the quiz would be available the next day and then it would be closed.

I took his online class in summer 2015. 12 quizzes total and those were the only grades we had. they were timed, but very straight forward. I received an A in this class. YOU WILL NEED THE BOOK.

This class was very basic. Read the chapter and take chapter exams. What made it hard is she did not allow much time on the exams at all, 10 minutes on most. I had several exams that I ran out of time before it was complete and she did not allow extra credit or do overs.

Online it goes: Read chapter, take quiz. Read chapter, take quiz. One chapter a week. There is a 5 page paper but it is only worth 20 points while the quizzes are worth 30 points each on average. The class was not hard once he gave us study guides a month in to the class, but I feel there may as well not even be a teacher. Little to no interaction.

I am currently taking two of Dr. K's classes online. He is not workload heavy. Just read your chapters, take the tests and participate in any discussions and you are golden. I am taking another one next semester. I am completely enjoying his classes and would recommend them online. His syllabus let's you know what to expect with assignments.

Weekly quizzes and as long as you read the chapter you will do well. Started out doing discussion boards but they dropped off towards middle of semester. He did change the syllabus halfway through the semester and changed due dates without notice so be wary of that. Besides that, good class and good instructor.

I had him for an intersession class and it was the easiest class ever. Intro to Sociology is supposed to be a really hard class, but this one was so easy. There was a grand total of five assignments each with ten questions. In fact it was so easy that I forgot there were assignments.

If you participate in the (not for grade) discussions, etc. you will do well. If you just go it alone and study, you will miss out a lot as the book is not really used. He is very "absent" and that's okay if you're self-directed. Only four grades for semester so you HAVE to do well to pass. Tests are easy if you participate in class.

This class was amazing! I took it completely online, and had no problems with it. He was very easy to communicate with, and made the class a great place to learn. I am taking two more classes from him this next semester, he was a great prof!

He is a very nice man. He is hard to understand when he is lecturing. I had him for a blended class, and altough he didn't take attendance, you would still have to show up in order to learn. You will use your book if you don't take notes in class, but he does put powerpoints on black board.

I think it's a good class. He was hard to understand at first but if you actually pay attention you can understand him. Tests are okay but you have to actually study. Notes are taken from powerpoints. Overall, he's a pretty good teacher. :)

Almost impossible to understand, never posted a syllabus, has difficulty working technology, and overall so slow that one slide literally took the man 2 class periods (100 minutes total) to cover the same amount of material that a previous teacher told me he taught in one. Heavy use of textbook because you can't pass the test without it.

I rarely paid attention in class. I learned mostly from the book. He told me I was doing well enough to get an A, but I was suprised when he gave me the B. If you have to take social statitics, take Langsam.
