So, I was really nervous to take this class but it wasn't as bad as I expected. This teacher isn't the most amazing teacher, but it could be worse. I got As on 3/4 of her exam, by just reading the study guides. It's microbiology, so the material isn't super easy, but her tests come right from the study guides she gives you.

I can easily say that this was one of the worst professors I have had at Camden County. It is the only science class in which I received a C in during my time at Camden County. Not only is she rude, her tests are difficult and your overall grade is determined by a handful of test and your overall lab grade, not to mention you have to read a book.

Everyone fails hers exams, she gives no feedback on what we dont know, so we have no way to improve or learn. complete waste of time and money. does not answer emails, or return phone calls. Even with a passing grade I am taking micro again. since I learned nothing, with another teacher of course.

I can easily say, I walked away from this class having learned nothing. Took the online class that she co-teaches with another professor; though "teach" is a reach. The classes were, read a chapter of the textbook, take the corresponding test. No assignments, nothing. Stay away, if you actually want to learn.

I've never given a professor on this site below five stars but there's a first for everything. She rambles on about things that aren't pertinent to the material we have to cover, she abruptly snaps at students, and during exams only one or two people pass (no curve). Never had to deal with a professor like this, and she's the bio department chair.

very smart and experienced on the actual work field, I found her lectures to be super interesting, a lot of things she talks about will help you during the test. Labs are interesting and she requires only to fill up certain questions of it, not hard at all. But she grades lab work very good, it brings up the grade. One of the best in bio Camden!!

Very knowledgable professor who has a lot of years of real world experience outside of the classroom. Comes off as somewhat abrasive at first but is anything but. She takes her subject matter very seriously and will adjust her testing material if not all material was covered. Tests were from her lecture handouts but you will need to study.

She comes off strict in the beginning but becomes more easy going. She can be snippy if people are not following directions or paying attention. However, she is a good teacher. She relates material to real life scenarios. Her tests are based COMPLETELY off her notes so if you study her outlines you will be fine! Takes attendance for labs only.

Professor Connolly started her semesters out hard, but she gradually realizes who really wants to learn and who is just sitting in her seats. She has hard notes and the course contains a lot of information. If you are willing to put in the time for the class, she will put in the time to help you. I strongly recommended you take her class.

Bio teacher for BioStat. Horrible!!! No clarity and she's all over the place. Never gives anything back. Makes everything more complicated and confusing than it needs to be!!

Her tests come directly from the notes - so if you can memorize you can get a B or A easily as she curves. She can be chatty one moment and then rip your head off the next moment. Not approachable. Her lectures are good enough for you to understand if you did well in Bio. There are a lot worse professors for Micro at CCC.

I loved the text book. Boring lectures. Interesting labs. Taught most of the material to myself as the prof is rude and tangential and lectures weak, but tests hard. Would not recommend this teacher.

ms connolly is very nice a little rough around the edges at times. But she really tries to make understanding micro interesting and better understood I would recommend her to any student. Everything on her tests in her notes.

Very awkward and rude teacher. Will make you feel uncomfortable when you are asking questions. One time I had a question to ask after class. She was doing some grading so I went up to her and politely called her just to be ignored. She let me hang there for 30secs just watching her untill I awkwardly walked away. Not recommended unless you know bio

I've had Prof. Connelly before. & after reading the first few comments, I have to say they are all true. She is mean, nice, helpful, and tells you exactly what will be on the exam. I think anyone will do well in her class as long as you don't get on her bad side. Although very intimidating, she can show her nice side if you give her a chance.

I really feel like she just loves to listen to her own voice, often times you ask her a question only to have her go on a random tangent about something irrelivent. She is very helpful but will often yell if you ask a "stupid" question.Dont let that discourage you, you'd be surprised how often she doesnt yell...

She is an awesome professor who knows what she is talking about. I loved her class but she can be tough to deal w/ she can be scary. Luckily we clicked and once you get to know her you will learn she is a fantastic person. Always make FLASHCARDS (labs and lectures)Went through 200 flashcards per exam. I would totally take her again!!!!!

Bad..mean ...!! I'm a 3.5-3.7 student and she gave me my first C. I listened suring lecture , worked hard in home but still got high C's. During lecture once she start screaming at me because I asked a question and she took a point off my grade for asking. She tells u whats on the test which is every word on her notes (long notes)
