Dr. Ayebo is a very nice guy. That microbiology class was a blur of confusion and pain. The main real problem is that it is totally unclear what is going to be on the exam. He could concentrate on an area that is never mentioned and then ask questions about something that was only mentioned in passing. Go to class.

Part II: In lab he's so much worse. There'll be 5 activities in one sitting and he's pretty much rushing you the whole time. His lab quizzes are real particular where spelling counts & his notes are all over the place. I really wish I could've evaluated the class to really let him know how I feel but I think he's the only micro teacher they have.

Overall I liked Dr. Ayebo. He is definitely not the easiest professor I had and he moves quickly through the material but an A is possible. You need to study your notes more than anything else. He definitely gets moody when it comes to lab but don't fool around and he will like you.

Ayebo is a Great Professor, make sure you attend all classes however or else you will be lost. He goes a little fast with the notes but he is very helpful if you go to him during his office hours. This class is challenging so you must study everyday. His lab is easy but pay attention to the notes he tells you because they will be on the lab quiz.

Dr. Ayebo was very funny and tried to keep class interesting. There is not much organization, but if you make flashcards and study what he says you will be fine. He does have occasional mood swings, but overall a good teacher. Read the book and go to class are absolutely musts.

I took Micro over the summer and Dr. Ayebo took over the course two weeks in because our professor became ill. He was by far the worst professor I have dealt with at IUP and one I will avoid at all costs. This man had no problem getting inches from a person's face to yell at them if they so much as question something he says.

Dr. Ayebo is a funny guy and enthusiastic about his lectures. He can make lecture very fun by cracking jokes. But he can be insensitive at times too and would not hesitate to embarass you in front of class. He has unpredictable mood swings so be good at all times with him. Otherwise he is an OK professor.

This professor is the worst, he is one way in lecture and different in lab. He likes to crack jokes in lecture and yell at you in lab. AVOID!! He might be the only micro professor @ IUP so good luck. I'm transferring because of him!

Challenging class, but if you attend each class and make flash cards to study, you can do well. Ayebo is a very nice guy and wants you to do well. This class requires a lot of effort but it will be rewarding at the end.

I liked him a lot. He's very nice/funny. He teaches straight from the book. If you want an A, you'll have to work for it. There is no curve, and the final was harder than I was expecting. Also, his lab exams were pretty difficult

Ayebo is a DIK! I have him now and dont like him at all. LAb is tough doesnt help much. buy the book notes are all the test but he throws some sht in from the book. hes a dik plain and simple

Micro is hard because the grading is very cut and dry...your grade can evaporate in a heartbeat if you don't constantly stay on top of things (i.e. a missed unknown). That being said, Ayebo's a pretty lively guy who's a little quirky at times, but knows what he's talking about. It's harder than you'd expect for 3 credits, but not impossible.

i had him for micro, he is so horrible makes u wish u never went to college, the tests are not based on what he teaches in class, questions come from no where, does not teach well, does not care about students at all, hard to understand, no one does well in this class, if u go to his office hours he does not want to help and he sends you away early

I took Dr. A Summer 1 and it wasnt bad at all. He is a funny guy, likes to have a little fun while teaching. Test are from the notes and reading assignments so dont waste your time reading the book.If there is an easy on the exam make sure you include as much detail as possible the more you know the better your grade. Overall I would take him again

I had him for summer micro. Initially I thought he was gonna be great and I was going to get an A. Then there was lab. Do not take him for lab. His lab "quizes" are insane. If you get one of the unknowns wrong then you basically automatically get a D... this obviously kills your grade and turns an A student into a C student. Very sad about this

I took this class having already covered much of the material in other courses. He explains things well, and notes are necessary in both lect and lab. Dr A can be very stubborn in the sense that if a mistake is made, its not his problem, (whether or not its ur fault or of another). can be emotional. pay attention especially in lab, easy but tedious

Dr. Ayebo is funny, but not the greatest teacher. I didn't buy the book at first because of ratings I read on here, but you need it! Lectures are derived from the book and he'll put a few questions on tests from it. Be prepared to work harder than you would expect for a 3 credit class. I like Dr. Ayebo, but I hate this class.

Microbiology is an awesome class. Dr. Ayebo explained everything in great detail, so expect to answer his tests and quizzes in great detail. If you pay attention in this class, you will do great! Hes prolly the top 5 professors I have had class with.

Dr.Ayebo is one of my favorite teachers ever!! It is between him and the ex CIA analyst I have this semester. He is tough, but teaches the material so you can learn. Those that don't like him usually don't come to class or study their notes because if they had they would love him! Amadu is a great guy that I just love!!
