This fool is one of the most boring professors I've ever taken. He's not good at explaining concepts breezes thru everything. If you like to ask questions sit in the front he doesnt look past the first few rows. Assigned seats lectures all class every day. He cant answer questions well its beyond him how students could be struggling. Avoid if u can

Shhhhh. One of the sweetest and easiest professors I have had to date. Unfortunately, I took this class as a joke and in return ended up failing. I would definitely recommend him for physics. In comparison to the other physics professors at Bakersfield College, he is the easiest, BUT don't underestimate him. STUDY!

I do very well in all my classes. But this one is so boring. He stands up front going through the packet that he had made and makes you copy all the notes from what he puts. Very difficult because I am not learning physics so much as equations.

The packet that you need has all the lab material and notes for the class. 95% of his test problems and STRAIGHT from your lecture notes and homework. Literally. So it shouldn't be that difficult to pass. You don't need the book since the online homework gives you access to the book. He's very punctual, you'll never start lecture late or leave late

Professor Park is an extremely old school teacher. He sits in the front of a lecture hall, speaks on and on off of notes he's prepared, and isn't too helpful with questions. If you've never had physics before, be ready to put work into understanding it on your end with hours at the tutor and learning from friends more than lecture.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Makes fun of your intelligence if you ask him something, says one thing will be on the test and guess what its not and then you get hit with something else. Not helpful. I spent 2 hours a day, 4 times a week with a tutor to learn the material. Avoid this man at all costs.

Professor Park's HW and tests are really not bad at all. Study the notes and the homework and I don't see a reason why you won't get a great score on the tests since they are based on notes and HW. Prof. Park is also very punctual. One of the few classes I've taken where the syllabus was followed exactly.

All your points are from the labs and 2 tests. Participate in the labs. If you don't know what you're doing in the labs, you'll fail his tests. Professor Park was an electronics engineer. He has great knowledge on the subject. His English is okay but still understandable. Don't be afraid to ask questions especially during labs, he will help you.

He is one of the easiest professors I have had. The lecture packet he requires is basically a fill-in-the-blank note taker, and he pulls test problems directly from the concepts found in there. He is very knowledgeable about his material as well. A good grade is quite easy to obtain.

I am an engineering major and took this class during the summer. It was an easy A for me. It was fast paced, but I took physics in high school and I am considered strong in math, which helps tremendously. The multiple choice tests are easy if you know what you're doing. If you are struggling ask someone for help, some people don't find him helpful.

He was okay. The class isn't extremely difficult, but it requires studying. If you're new to physics, you should develop a habit of studying for this class because physics can be applied in many different scenarios. He can be helpful, but he doesn't seem very enthusiastic to help. Study his notes, labs, and homework assignments.

This class isn't hard at all! He outlines all the notes really well and his tests are straight from the notes, labs, and homework. The tests are MULTIPLE CHOICE! He is sort of boring, but the class easy enough that you can figure it out on your own if you can't pay attention in class. If you need help, the tutoring available through MESA is great

His class is a bit of a challenge. He requires you to do well on his tests which account for the majority of your grade. He has his notes laided out so all you have to do is write them down during his lectures. My mistake was not really studying the notes for his tests. If you study for his tests then the class will not be hard.

Over 70% of your grade is tests + final so make sure you prepare. His notes are already outlined and he just fills in the blanks during lecture. BE WARNED: it might be hard to pay attention in class but some test problems he answers VERBALLY during lecture.

He is difficult at times though a good grade can be earned with effort. I found that he can be a bit helpful if you go to him with a question. Other times he may not be so helpful. Do your best and put in the effort and you will get a good grade. His grading scale is geared to help you pass.

THE WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Very hard to understand. Is not clear with examples and when students ask questions, he does not answer the question but rather ridicules the student for not understanding. Open lab time does not help because he only gives the answers to the problems which is no help for the tests. BC needs new Physics teacher

VERY TOUGH CLASS! the toughest i have ever had, and i am a bio major, so i have taken tough classes. There is not understanding the book, so your only hope is to learn by the solutions manual. Invest in one, or cuff it off someone, it will help immensely! The tests are the homework, the lab exams are the labs. Thats the class boys and girls. gd luk

Took Physics B4a in summer. It's hard but what can i say, it's a summer class. Parks just doesn't teach too well. He gives easy examples but hard test problems. Labs are pretty straight forward though.

This guy is a ninja! I dont recomend taking him but hes the only teacher that teachs physics b4a. Dont bother doing homework cause he only tests you on his lecture notes. I would suggust "comparing your answers to the answer books" cause the problems just come from his notes or complex versions of which. If you test well in his class your fine.
