He's an interesting man... honestly he scared me and was way too strict. He has a short temper and is passive aggressive. He has gone off in class over little things such as students being late or too many people leaving at once. Lot's of reading! almost too much. Will not take his class again unless required. He is passionate about his work.

I regret taking this class, it sounded interesting but Gaudio sucks as a teacher. He's a tough grader, downright annoying and expects you to know what he wants (vague assignments that you get penalized for not "answering correctly" ). He's a nice person, but a terrible professor.

I had him a couple of times. He is probably one of the most intelligent people I've ever met, all while being amusing and charming. I really enjoyed all of his classes, even though he is a very tough grader. He always surprises you with his feedback and can counter any argument you give him, which constantly challenges the students! I love Gaudio.

Best professor I've ever had! Clear about what he wants and but doesn't have unrealistic expectations. Fair and thorough (read: sort of tough) grader who will always give you constructive feedback to improve your work instead of dismissing work as unsatisfactory. If you show effort and respect in class and in your work, you will love his classes!

Professor Gaudio is a great professor who is passionate about his courses, however he has been VERY rude to students in the classroom on multiple occasions, usually for small reasons. His assignments are not too difficult but he is not clear in instructions sometimes. He is also very funny which is always a plus!

It is clear that Gaudio is really passionate about the subject he's teaching, and is a really nice guy. But he needs to understand that his students may not always share that same passion, and he will penalize them for that. He also gives WAY too much work. If someone doesn't get an answer right, or doesn't raise their hand, he gets insulted.

I currently have Prof. Gaudio and absolutely love attending his class. His love for Anthropology shines through his lectures, making them anything but boring. The amount of coursework is fair and is comprehensible. His lectures are direct extensions of the readings, which help students to understand the material on a deeper level. A very fun guy!

Prof. Gaudio was a very straightfoward professor. Don't get on his bad side. His courses are very easy to get a B in but if you drag through them, he will show no sympathy. Global Media, Local Cultures: I loved him! It was a 3hr class and I thought he used every second of it to the fullest. He demands A LOT from students but rightfully so, its college. Extremely intelligent/well read, this man has something to say to just about anything. Take him if your serious about learning and not screwing off: you'll love him!
