Nice guy. Biology is his life. Tests are hard but he curves them a few points. Only have to take 2 out of 4 tests. Sounds too good to be true-- his grading scale is off. Considers a 90-92 an AB and an 83-89 a B. If i had a 92, I would want an A!!

He is an older professor so he tends to stumble on his words and such things. He is very enthusiastic about Biology. His tests are pretty difficult because he asks for the EXACT definitions, but if you study your notes, slides, and video notes...you'll pass. Oh! and if you take 2 of 4 tests and have the grade you want-you don't have to take anymore

This class (Biological Science) was easy, but you must come to class on time. Take notes to study and read the handouts. Only 2-4 tests, your choice. I got an A and only took 2 tests.

One of the most passionate professors at UT. He gives it it's all. You can see the wheels turning in his head before the lectures. If you haven't taken one of his courses before you left UT, you've really missed the boat. Dr. Punzo, may your portrait hang with but a few, on the wall of greatnes!

Professor Punzo is one of the best of Bio department. The class is not easy, but manageable. He is crystal clear about what is on the test. Study all the notes in the class all the names J & S he mentions, all the review questions and be on. time on the class. You will be fine for sure. His lectures are incredibly interesting.

Dr Punzo is an incredible teacher! But he looks for details! He can be a bit pretentious sometimes but after all, he has more knowledge than us!! You will learn a lot from his class and will do fine if you study by heart everything everyday!

Memorize every detail of the notes, even the captions! Know your stuff and you'll be fine. He is straightforward and very clear, you will be prepared for any class after passing one of his. He is a great teacher, not just a great professor.
