Had him for into to accounting ACC 101. I did not like the way the class was run at all. we really didnt follow the course outline and at the end of the semester when we were pressed for time he skipped over certain topics that will serve as the foundation for ACC 102. I will probably have to repeat ACC 101. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

If you purchased the book by yourself and read it, you would be no worse than attending the online Zoom class. Prof's does not empower the student, no real world examples, just straight reading from the book. No extra credit opportunities. Test's aren't too hard, but he always throws in a bonus question, which no one every gets, so that's a waste

Another professor who doesn't care one bit about the the students and only wants to collect a paycheck. The absolute worst experience so far at NCC. Tests are hard, lectures are not even helpful, just read the book yourself and youll pass. Don't expect to receive any communication outside your Zoom class because he said "thats his time" not yours.

Please stay away from this professor!! I have nothing good to say about the way this course was taught through Zoom. Lecture were a total joke and we were always let out early. That might seem cool but if you multiply that by the whole semester we lost a week of class and he skimmed topics at the end to catch up. Tests are hard and hard to finish.

The semester is over and I'm glad to be done with this professor. I wish I read these reviews prior!! One of the worst professors at NCC! I worked so hard for a B because I had to essentially teach myself the course. This professor is horrible and shouldnt be allowed to teach. Negative attitude and gets upset very quickly if you ask him to explain

Not a very good professor. He does not engage with the students to provide a two way discussion, its always one sided, his way. I would suggest agreeing with this professor even if you dont, your grade counts on it! Tests are difficult and are multiple choice. No extra credit is allowed so dont bother to ask about it. Always lets class out early

No clear direction in this class. Does not follow the syllabus and jumps around from topic to topic. He creates power point slides that are a direct copy of the text book. Let me also add that the text book must be purchased or else you will fail the class, his words, not mine. No class organization, lack of structure and teaching techniques.

I rarely do reviews but I feel I must. As others have stated, the review sheets are one thing and the test are the complete opposite. Very hard to get in touch with outside of the Zoom session. Office hours do not exist with this professor. I wouldn't recommend this teacher if you're serious about Accounting, will not prepare you for ACC 102.

Very difficult tests! I feel the review sheets and practice examples are nothing like the tests. Some students have addresses this concern only to be dismissed by the professor. I approached the professor and asked if he accepted extra credit because of a low score on exam #2 and he said yes. I then asked again and he said no.

I have no idea why his rating is so low he deserves a much higher rating! Finally, a professor who takes his time and breaks down every detail! We need more professors like him especially in Accounting at NCC... he truly cares and is super innocent and funny at the same time!

Tests are extremely difficulty and not one student has finished a test in the given amount of time. He always ends class 15 minutes early because he gets tired from looking at the screen. I might drop this class if the next test id like this past one. I should have listened to the reviews. Not a good nor helpful teacher! NCC can do so much better

No compassion from this professor due to me having a financial hardship because of COVID. I lost my job and couldn't afford the textbook. I ask him for help and he laugh at me during the Zoom call with the whole class watching. I was embarrassed and shocked. I have never been disrespected from a prof like this in my life. I wouldn't suggest him.

Where do I start? This class is making me think not to major in accounting. This teacher is the worst I ever had at NCC. He wont let you into the Zoom session if you're a minute late. Many students have not been allowed in and we are paying for this class!! The Board needs to remove this prof. Test's are impossible and he just doesnt care one bit

Not a very good experience so far in the Fall 2020 semester. I'm beginning to think that I made the wrong decision by selecting this lab professor. Never answers emails and is never available during his remote Zoom office hours. The first exam was very hard and it was nothing like the review sheet we went over. Average score was 45 he said .....

Self-Proclaimed best Accounting professor. Very angry towards students who aren't account majors. Does not go out of his way to help students. Vents about his personal life and students are forced to listen. Very strict about attendance meanwhile he is late himself for Zoom classes and unprepared. Do not take him and select a more fair prof.

Most of the class is spent giving his opinions. I gave it a few weeks to get better, but it only gets more and more opinion oriented as the class moves on. At this point the tests will be on his opinion as well. Stay away and just act like you agree because he always calls on you if you agree with him and your grade will reflect that AGREE with him

I agree with all the others, so bad! His lectures via Zoom are so dry that I often find myself looking a the wall in my home. He doesn't give any partial credit on his exams and like to debate you as to why. His tests are nothing like what we review in class, they seem 3x as harder. He's not available outside of the classroom and doesnt email back.

I'm writing this review early in the semester, so far we've had two online classes via Zoom and it's been really bad. Seems like those negative reviews below were a fair warning of what to expect. This professor is struggling with using Zoom and even had trouble writing the class an email! I don't like the way this class is going, let's see ..

This professor is very sarcastic and belittles his students. Does not give any hand outs so you should take very good notes during the lecture or Zoom sessions. Tests are moderate if you put in the time to study for them. I really wish he was nicer and didnt give students a backwards handed compliment. He told us that everyone should become a CPA.

Absolutely a horrible experience! Favors Accounting majors! Cannot use Zoom or any type of online platform. Does not respond to emails, practice tests are nothing like the exams. Goes off an tangents during lectures and skips around topics and does not follow the course syllabus. Get ready to teach yourself ACC 102 or 102. Just in it for the money!
