He says he is a much better professor in person and I cant say that I disagree or not. His class was not too difficult but you do have to do all the homework and understand if you want to pass his exams. I thought it was going to be a zoom class but he hates zoom classes. He' s a nice man but will not respond to emails.

Reggie is hands down my favorite prof at BC. He is super funny and VERY knowledgeable. You can tell he cares about his students and wants them to do well. He will help you when you need it, as long as you are making an effort in the class. There are quizzes at the top of every class that can't be made up later, so avoid being late if you can!

One of the most thought-provoking classes I have had at BC. Got an A but really had to work for it: it felt rewarding in the end to receive it. Aside from the grades, in the online setting he makes discussion thread participation interesting with a Socratic style (although if you like using Zoom he does not really care for it).

Expects you to learn almost everything on your own does not have zoom classes or any type of office hours. Has teaching tips on certain topics but not all of them. Seems like a good in person teacher but not very good for an online class. Mentioned a grade bump at then end of the semester since grades were low in the class, and it was never given.

This is a UC-level Critical Thinking course; he will make sure that you are ready to write at this level. My class got a unique perspective since we had him both in-person and online, we made an effort to help us in both. Throughout the course, I saw a drastic improvement in my writing. Best advice: Make a study group and help each other regularly.

He's a good person and creates interesting discussions for the class. However, his grading on papers can be kind of vague at times and he wants you to dive deep on your papers even though you have a small word limit. He has two mini essays due each week and three parts to an overall paper but those parts all relate in the end.

honestly worst professor Ive ever had and Im an excellent student, he really doesnt ever write on the board and thats def needed for philosophy and visual learners. he lectures and stays till the very last minute, tests are hard, basically you need to read the book and teach yourself because he expects you to come to class educated on the topic

PhilB9 is not for the weak minded and the those who are not dedicated to school, if you dont read everyday you will fall behind. He is a world class professor who has been through a lot in his academic career which leads him to have no sympathy for excuses. I now attend Stanford and I can truly say that Professor Reggie prepared me to succeed here

He honestly had to grow on me, but I really enjoyed his class once I was able to push past my own biased opinions. He's just there to give you information and to get you thinking. Tests were pretty tough, but the writing assignments were actually fun.

Doesnt use canvas, quizzes/hw everyday, puts the hardest problems on test to separate A students from D students, assigns homework without explaining or giving any notes, expects homework to be done by next class and know what to do on quiz without giving any notes or talking about the problems, basically u teach yourself, brags about PHD

Took him over summer for 4 weeks, and was one of the best profs I've ever had at BC. Go to class because it is all lecture-based, but he makes them fun, interactive, and the guy is just dope. He wears band tshirts and birks everyday. You won't be bored and I actually wanted to come to class lmao. Exams and assignments weren't bad, take him if u can

Took this class over the summer. 500pts total, 300 were from in class exams. He had short writing assignments. He cares about your education and he's pretty funny. Really laid back. A fair grader, if you had a take home assignment he expects more than in class. Participation shows interest. Don't disrupt the lecture for your own personal situation.

I know that its advanced comp and critical thinking but man I wish he would assign outlines and give a little more information on his writing assignments. He doesn't even give back DI in a timely manner. God I'm done with this class. How am I supposed to do better if I don't know what I'm doing wrong before the big assignments come around?

Great Professor! Would definitely take again. He does cuss a lot and imposes his opinion so if you get offended easily dont take his class. There is a lot of reading, but if you do it, pay attention, and speak up youll get a great grade. Seriously a very kind and rad prof.

Advanced comp. and crit. thinking should look at ALL sides of the argument, correct? Yet, Williams, Trujillo, and Moton are one of the most narrow-minded teachers I've ever come across at BC. If you don't mind cussing, discussing robots (our semester's topic discussed robotic sex dolls, ect.) bashing of religion/your opinion, and cussing, go ahead!

passed the class but it was by far the most ive ever done in a class. i know its college, but he expects to try to cover a different section every day . hes funny ill admit that but class wasnt my thing, cusses alot, can make you feel uncomfortable with some topics, tries to make u stay to the very end, even if it means going off subj for 10 mins

I would take Reggie 20 times over. He's an amazing professor. Logic is a subject that requires work and practice, but as long as you do the homework and show up to class, you'll do fine. Reggie manages to strike the perfect balance between sharing funny stories and really driving home the information. He makes class fun, while remaining productive.

He was by far the BEST professor Ive ever had hes so nice and helpful. PARTICIPATION MATTERS!! He likes when you speak up and its hard not to because he draws in questions that youre dying to answer (no pun intended). Hes very entertaining thats for sure we would go from being on topic to talking about food, he has no filter.
