If you want to actually hate your life for an entire semester, then take this class with Forbes. He cares more about talking about how rich he is rather than teach you. Fails you if you miss more than 2 days even if you have a doctors note, and more. tells more stories, than lecture. Has zero sympathy. Will call you out if you fail a test.

He was amazing in person but super challenge and hard. Since he has been online, basically has all his lectures from the first semester of Covid uploaded, before he knew how to be online good, and then just dates for tests. Then you feel like crap when he puts you down for not studying, although you do and nothing on the test makes sense.

I would not take this professor again if my only other teaching option were a dead dog. This guy constantly states the wrong things in his lectures, has his phone going off, door bell ringing, and animals in the background. But god forbid you look at your pet during an exam. Its Feb 2021 and he's using the same lectures from JUNE.

Honestly, the worst professor I've had in all of my years of school. I took his online class and whenever I emailed him to ask questions or double-check something, he would give a rude response. This is my favorite class, just wish I had a better teacher. His online class is too unorganized.

He may be an amazing teacher IN THE CLASSROOM. But as an online teacher? He needs a lot of work. He doesnt do anything to help his students, just gives the lectures and the notes and you dont hear from him until a week before the exam. I pay to be taught, and understand. Not teach myself these concepts. The worst teacher I have ever had.

He teaches you a new way; it will be invaluable to future healthcare workers. He expects you to eat, sleep, and breathe A&P. If you're taking over 12 credits, including one of his biology classes, consider going part-time in order to truly get everything you need from his classes. He also gives amazing context when explaining difficult topics!

Example A of final exam.. he gave us 1 hour and 15 minutes for 116 questions, all other exams were an hour with 70 questions, breaks down to about 15 minutes to answer the last 46 questions. If that doesnt sound ridiculous to anyone, then youre flat lying. Had no time to comprehend and even read a question basically felt like he wanted us to fail

He's one of those teachers where you either like him or you don't honestly. He has a ton of notes, but he lays them out pretty nicely. Bit of a tough grader, but the class is more difficult to begin with. Study his notes (especially the pathology ones) and study hard. Lectures are really fun though

I enjoyed Forbes class but it was one of the hardest classes I've had. He's the head of the department and is pretty strict. But he uses humor in his lectures and great examples to help you remember. There's no homework, just 4 exams. If you don't study the material each class, you will fail. There's SO much and he doesn't do reviews/extra credit.

I wish I wouldve had him sooner so I couldve taken him more. Lectures are amazing and so entertaining, but you need to show up. He walks through everything step by step and makes understanding it so much easier. He is hilarious and genuinely cares about his students. GRCC is lucky to have him.

I loved Dr Forbes! He really cares about his students and that they actually LEARN the material. He has such a good knowledge base with lots of life experience and he shares really funny stories. He's engaging and I loved how thorough his notes and information was. I hope I get to take more classes from him in the future!

Dr. Forbes is amazing!! His lectures are incredible and throughou ans something you can remember for use later. Didnt really use the book mostly lecture notes and APR. You can tell he really cares for his students and wants them to pass. I wish Dr. Forbes taught other subjects so I could take him again.

Would not recommend taking him if you are looking for an easy A. Best way to earn an A is to thoroughly study/know your notes in and out. I did not read the book and got a B on my first two tests. Once I started studying my notes thoroughly, I got As the next two tests. STRICT attendance policy. >4 absences and he can lower you a whole grade.

He is a naturally good teacher, super funny, intelligent and knows how to make difficult material easy to comprehend! Tests are difficult but if you study and read more into the textbook youll do well!
