I had Dr. Capozzi for Physics 1 and 2. If you have to take physics and Dr. Capozzi is an option, TAKE HIM. You will not regret it. The homework, quizzes, and tests are all online. His lectures are a little sporadic, so use the book or the internet to get you through the online assignments and you should get an easy A.

He made everything online. No need to buy the book, only need to buy the wiley code. No need to go to class. Labs are a waste of time but easy points. Easy A as long as you do all the online homework, quizzes, and tests.

Tests are difficult (when he teaches at the same time as Lazano) but TONS of extra credit is offered to offset not so good test scores. He is very nice and an entertaining guy. He writes all the notes on the board but they aren't always helpful for doing the homework as it is often equations and no examples or very basic examples. I recommend him.

Dr. Capozzi is the best! Class was cancelled about once a week, and we only had about 5 quizzes (many were take home) and about 5 labs the whole semester (only 30 minutes long too). He made one test and the final take home. Tests came from his notes and he gave you the equations. ASK HIM QUESTIONS DURING THE TEST Plus, he made Physics fun and easy!

I love Dr. Capozzi! He's so energetic and makes the class really fun. The material is difficult, but it's not so bad if you follow along and take good notes. Also, DO the practice problems he assigns, they really help.

Does not help you follow along at all. If he would give you an idea of where you were in the book, it would go a long way. He basically just comes in, writes proofs on the board, and then gives you quizzes on Friday. Not terrible, but not a very good teacher.

Funny, interesting teacher. Sometimes strays off-topic, but keeps it within the realm of physics, and makes it interesting. If you go to every class and lab, and pay attention, you should have no problem getting a B in the class with at least a little studying and review outside of class.

Scatterbrained. You'll go all over into different physics topics that won't be on the test. Tests are uniquely hard, and finding an old one is even harder.

Nice guy, wants you to learn, but unable to execute in a lecture. Too unorganized on the board. Hard to take notes. If you don't have time to use office hours, forget about it because you will probably struggle with just the lecture. I find it amazing that I had to pay $580 per credit hour for someone not to teach me in a lecture. Oh well.

Dr. Capozzi is definatly entertaining! The class is hard but my advice is attend every class and museum visit and do the extra credit. If you have any questions or concerns talk to him. I had considered dropping the course due to low test scores and he adviced me to hang in there. I ended up with a C. He is very kind and understanding.

This class will vary from person to person. I got a B. Nice guy, lectures aren't difficult, however, you have to put effort into understanding the material in the book, because his tests are hard. If you're in 201 to begin with, you obviously need to know it for your major. If you don't want to know the material, take at ICC.

AVOID. Capozzi is overall hard to follow. Unless you are good at teaching yourself, dont take him. His test are very hard and material is not explained very well. The only reasons why you should take him, is if you can teach yourself with SOME quidence and he grades for concepts, not right or wrong.(NO PRACTICE TEST, SLIM OFFICE HOURS, TOO QUICK)

I was scared of this class starting out, but it really wasn't that bad, I swear! Read the book and pay attention in class and you'll be fine. He can be a little absent-minded at times, but it's more funny than anything, and he really is a nice guy.

Dr. Capozzi was the worst teacher I'd ever had. Mumbles to himself alot and tells you incorrect information. Quizes are easy but his tests are really hard. The class average on the tests were 65%. If you are so unfornate to have to take this professor do the review questions at the end of the chapter because he puts some of them on the test.

This was the hardest class I took at Bradley. I wanted to drop ever single day, but I needed the credits to graduate. I never ever studied for ANYTHING in my life, and had to study my ass off for this class. I barely scraped by with a C. We started with a class of 40, and by week two were down to 7 or 8. He won't allow gum, or WATER in class (ridiculous). He's crazy strict. I don't reccomend this class, or this prof, but I did learn a lot, and it was almost fun near the end.

Worst class I ever took at Bradley. He is all over the place with lecture, yet he teaches directly out of the book how hard should it be for him? Grading scale is easy, however tests have nothing to do with lectured or focused on material. If you enjoy astronomy don't kill it by taking him!
