Gardner is a pretty good choice if you aren't a math major to get your gen ed out of the way. She can be pretty funny but kind of sarcastically rude too. The class is an easy A and I suck at math. Get the online homework done on time and you're golden.

Comment:

Professor Gardner is a sweet lady, she reminds me of my grandma. Sometimes she has her days where she's in a bad mood but don't we all. She is super helpful and has a great sense of humor. You work in groups almost every class, which I find to be very helpful. Tests are straight forward, and you should expect homework often. I really enjoyed her.

She seems strict at the beginning but she's actually so nice and if you joke around with her, she will be more open and go along with your jokes. If you don't understand something she will go over it so many times and offer to help you after class. She gives out a lot of worksheets during class but you work on them in groups and it makes it fun!

SO EASY! Just take notes and do the webwork and you're fine. She lets you use partners for quizzes and cheat sheets on tests. For the final exam we got to use one side of a whole sheet of paper, but the stuff was so straight forward and easy that i literally wrote down one example on my paper "just incase". I recommend her ad she is nice! :)

GREAT prof. Easy to follow, does call you out in class, but it isn't a big deal. I'm terrible in math, and I got an A. Gives you notecards on exams and a 8x11 sheet of paper to take notes on the final. Helpful and sweet. Take her if you hate/struggle with math.

Professor Gardner was the nicest lady ever! I would suggest her for anyone taking math 110. She reminds you of that cute grandma you never had. You get out early A LOT and the exams and worksheets are easy and you always work in groups. Easy class.

left each class feeling discouraged. I struggle in math and if you dont understand it she acts like you are stupid. She calls out people in class and picks on people and says rude and mean things to students. She doesnt explain clearly if you ask her to explain something a second time if you didnt understand. if you struggle in math-dont take her.

I did not like prof. Gardner as a teacher. She treated us all like we were 10 years old. She didnt give comprehensive notes and a lot of what was on the homework was not covered how to do in class. I had to look everything up in the book and learn everything myself. I wouldnt suggest her.

HATE math, not doing in the class BUT if I was a better student I would be getting a C+ or higher. She breaks everything down and gives multiple ways to solve different math problems which means if you suck at the first way she shows you theres other options. Shes very good at making Math relatable and likeable.

This is by far one of the greatest professors I think I will ever have. She is very easy and it's easy to understand what she is teaching. She is a GREAT professor. You can only skip 4 classes but it's not bad. I would definitely recommend her! But seriously, take her. She's a really good teacher!

Before taking this class I was not looking forward to college math at all. But this professor completely changed my mind. She was the nicest, sweetest, most helpful professor that I've had. She was very approachable and really connected with her students. She earned bonus points when she brought cookies for everyone on exam day :)

I'm not sure what everyone else is talking about because this lady is the greatest! I've never learned more in a math class in my life and I HATED math until this class. She is the nicest person and teaches really well. We get note cards on every test, we do a ton of review (which is so helpful) and no required homework! Take this class!

I absolutely hate math, but this prof rocks. She makes sure everyone understands the material, tests are easy. She covers everything so well. Class went by very fast, she's just an awesome sweet old lady. I'd highly recommend her to anyone. You can use notecards on every test, with anything you want on them, and quizzes are in groups.
