Professor Snyder is very good at teaching the subject, it is just difficult at times because of the nature. Her slides and all of the homework is helpful. Offers tons of extra credit.

Professor Snyder is an awesome professor. She moves a little fast so you have to keep up with her but she uploads all of her lectures to oaks and she is super caring about the students you just have to reach out to her. She gives connect homework and smartbook homework but it is just to make sure you learn the content. Would definitely recommend!

I took two classes with Prof. Snyder so far. She is very precise, organized, funny, and always willing to help. She tests you the exact things she said in class. Just attend the class and do the prep exams and you will be fine. It's not a hard a class if you study (does not even require that much effort).

You're paying her to read from the powerpoint slides. You're paying $15 for an app to let her know you're there. There's also a lot of quizzes that you'll take on the app. Upside* She offers extra credits (Attending the business events and writing about them) Basically, Be ready to teach yourself.

Comment:
Prof. Snyder was horrible. Monotone, boring, and uses bland powerpoints. The app costs $15, which I was not happy about. Attendance is taken and small pop quizzes are carried out via such app. The Learnsmart homework also does not show right answers if it's wrong. The class is hard, so find a study group or tutor if you get stuck with Prof. Snyder.

Teaches using stock powerpoints, she's very boring and monotone, be prepared to teach yourself (as another student has stated), lots of HW. She also using this app to take attendance, it's required b/c attendance is 10% of your grade, the catch is the app costs $15! Why should I have to pay to attend when I'm already paying 100s of $ for the class?

Snyder was great for Finance 303. Her class was very hard and it took me a few weeks to understand how to put the time in, but when I went to her office hours with questions from the homework, she was eager to help. Go to her office hours, you'll be fine.

Professor Snyder is AWESOME. I seriously enjoyed her class and lectures were kept interesting. You can tell that she cares about her students. She won't give away grades but will offer several opportunities for improvement and is always there to answer questions. Definitely take a class with her if you're interested in Econ and willing to work hard

This finance class is the hardest class I have taken! She expects too much out of you. 1st exam we had to memorized 50 equations. 2nd exam everyone did so horrible we had to retake it. Exam 3 and Final were together which equalled 40% of total grade. Chapter quizzes due every week that take 2+ hours each. Don't take unless you want a challenge.

Very new to the subject, did not elaborate on a lot of the concepts. Our final exam was worth 36% of our grade because everyone failed our second test due to her poor teaching of the material. Online homework and quizzes take hours, and often don't coincide with what she taught in class. Would not recommend taking her for this class.

She told us the first class that she took the course over the summer, and it really shows. She does not understand half of the problems she puts on the board, most of the time she just throws up an equation and expects us to understand it. Online quizzes are a special sort of torture, because they don't follow along with what she teaches.

Expects students to do an incredible amount of online homework. Lectures are like laundry lists of formulas and terms on and on and on. Only way to get by is to memorize and no formula sheets are allowed. Tests are hard because she does not know how to make them. New professor to the subject and it shows. Have to buy things to limit grading for her

Powerpoint lectures every class and online homework every weekend. Three tests with lowest grade dropped. Cumulative final exam. Extremely nice professor. She talks enthusiastically so her lectures don't drone on.

I loved taking her class over the summer. She is very helpful when you go to office hours. There is a book, but most of the information on the test you can study from the power points. Her tests are multiple choice and there are no trick questions. Easy A if you are taking macro.
