I took his junior level globalization class as a freshman. Firstly, he was such a great person, I was so nervous taking him as a frosh but he really made me comfortable with participating etc. I took him online and there wasnt one quiz or homework just all essays. I strongly suggest writing services tho he really likes when u go and helps ur grade

I really appreciated having the opportunity to learn about Africa from someone who grew up in Nigeria and clearly knows what he's talking about. Don't mess up the (chicago-style) essay formatting, and please don't skip class, because you will certainly be roasted if you do either, and you will deserve it. It's a VERY writing intensive course.

Hes en extremely tough grader on papers. Very nice guy. I really liked him as a person. His lectures are interesting. However, his classes require a lot of participation. He will keep you until the last minute of class. Doesnt use e-campus. This is not a professor to take if you want to skate through the class. he will make you work

He is a very passionate man but I didn't learn much from his teaching. Went to every class, participated, did all the work, and didn't end with my anticipated grade, so safe to say I am very disappointed considering the work I put in. He will call you out if you miss class so don't. Funny guy, but I am glad I'm not a history major.

Yes he does have an accent. However this is not the only thing about him! He is very passionate and respected when it comes to this class. Essay heavy. Personally not my style of learning, however it works for some.

He has an extremely thick African accent so he's a little tough to understand. He only gives essay tests and it's very hard to get an A. Also, attendance is very important to him, he takes attendance at the beginning of every class and will call you out if you missed a class. I liked him as a person, didn't love him as a teacher

Hilarious and straight-forward professor. Lectures a lot but makes a boring class interesting. Not a lot of homework beside 1 term paper. Only downside is he does not provide a PPT and attendance is a grade but overall solid professor for West Civ

He was my FAVORITE teacher last semester! Took him for African studies. He really has a passion for teaching and he's hilarious! Can be a tough grader but it's only to prepare you for harder tasks you will face. You can revise your first paper for a better grade. No hwk or midterm. Just some papers, a presentation, and final. Would recommend him!

Until now, I have never had a professor that lost 3 of my assignments. That being said, Dr. Adekunle would lecture for lengths of time yet expect you to find information elsewhere for his exams and papers, and not to use his teachings. To add, he was often rude and a very tough grader. The textbook was useless as was asking questions (unanswered).

I took this class because I had to. He assigns homework almost every week and is pretty unclear as to where you should do your reading and find the information. Basically the book is useless just go and use the internet for your assignments. The questions are short and vague but the answer are expected to be paragraphs long. Terrible class.

This guy was hilarious. So cute. That's the only reason I kept going to class. He has an accent which forces you to pay close attention, but he's not impossible to understand. Make sure you take good notes and do the book assignments because he wants a mix of both kinds of information for tests and papers.

Really nice guy and means well, but his class is annoying. Workload is not bad, just a few questions for every subject but the research paper sucks. He never gives clear instructions and often leaves you confused. Doesn't use ECampus and rarely answers any emails. Tests are easy because he gives you the questions beforehand but is a tough grader.

Professor Adekunle was awesome. He was so funny and made cute jokes all of the time. His tests are SO easy, he pretty much tells you in advance what will be on them. His research paper was a little tricky and kind of annoying to do.. But other than that, I have no complaints! Take him!

Professor Adekunle is a really tricky person to explain. His teaching can be very difficult at times, his grading can seem harsh, and when you leave the class it seems you forgot everything he just said. Other times you can see he is a very nice, friendly, at times understanding man, who can also be very helpful to see for help. Not the worst.

Julius is a pretty nice guy. Really helpful and runs a good class. Workload isn't too bad, just some questions for each subject and 1 term paper. Also, for tests he gives you the questions that will be on the test to study, so as long as you do your work his class is quite simple.

Very hard to understand at times due to his thick accent. He is a very smart and intelligent guy I just don`t find history the easiest subject so I definitely had to work hard in his class. The accent was my major issue especially with a class I find difficult already. I`m not sure if I would take him again..
