Worst teacher I ever had at SU. I honestly would have dropped if it wasn't required. He is lazy, no proper grading criteria, and teachs nothing. Just film something and bring it back for harsh criticism. Had to learn from another professor to complete the assignments. Last minute 2 weeks after finals, my grade turned to an 89 and he gave me a B.

If you show Sharma that you care about the class, he'll care about you. If you're on your phone a lot and don't pay attention, that's when he'll be an ass to you. Participate, ask questions, give 100% in the class. He knows what he's talking about, he'll give you brutally honest feedback, while other professors won't. He will help you succeed.

AVOID. The university is showing how they truly don't care about their student's environment.

Terrible professor. Abusing the system in order to get a paycheck. Does not want to be there. Is only there for an ends to a means. Thats it. Needs to be fired.

not the best professor especially in the Media production field. does grade harsh and has no academic honesty in his syllabus and isn't a people person. He can tend to not care at all in class

Doesn't tell you what he wants but grades harshly for not reading his mind. Not very knowledgable in the field, leaves teaching up to the book and YouTube videos.

I took Sharma for advertising and Study Abroad, super cool guy. Very easy for advertising, just do the homework and study that for the final. The group project was semester long, and gives a second chance for work to be re-done. Sharma is like everyone's dad on Study Abroad, and totally watches out for all of his kids. I would take him again.

I really wanted to take Advertising, but he didn't make it a very good class. He just talks at you w/his terrible slides. Pretty tough grader and doesn't give helpful feedback. Also I took his final the 1st day of exam week and didn't get my grade until that wknd. Had no idea what I had all sem.

Took for Advanced Audio. Sharma has good intentions. He does however get mad when students have excuses for not doing their work (which is understandable). Mostly work in groups and takes a while to grade projects. Favors students who are interested in learning. If you finish and do all your work on time you should get an A.

He really is not personable at all. Hard to understand, and seems disinterested. One of the worst professors in the CMAT program. With the radio production class he said "I'm not hear to teach you how to be a DJ," but why was it called radio production if you had no interest in radio? Take him if you have no interest in being taught.

Sharma is great. He really knows what he's talking about, and likes when students participate. He expects you to do your work and should since he teaches upper level courses. Only test is the final, mostly group work and attendance. Questions from the textbook, but book is on reserve at library. Great class, and fun, but you have to apply yourself.

Sharma is great. Those that rate him bad or say he is too hard either wanted an easy 'A' or did not apply themselves. Production classes are meant for out of class time. It is the hands on experience where you truly learn. People whine too much...It's COLLEGE! I graduated in '01 before SU had Avid or high tech studios. We had VHS, and Casablanca.

Sharma is awesome. He is really helpful and hilarious. He cares just as much as his students, so if you don't care and blow him off you'll get no where...but if you're dedicated and have a sense of humor you're gravy.

He's a very biased teacher and not very nice at all. In fact, he was prolly one of the rudest instructors i have ever had and he is anything but helpful. Also, dont do a paper dissing Anna Nicole Smith in any way b/c supposidly he has an infatuation with her...

He assigns projects and never comments on what you are doing wrong, only to give a bad grade after the production is finished. He does not seem to ahve areel background in broadcasting, so he thinks the right way to projects is only the textbook way. a's are impossible to get, and he always seems to favor peopl who who kiss up

hes a good teacher, you will definatley learn a lot. seems to be biased towards some students so definatley get on his good side. if he knows you are trying hard he rewards you with a good grade, also lets you resubmit things to get a better grade.

Bad teacher. He has the students do group projects on media systems in other classes, in other words, the 2nd half of the semester, we're doing the teaching! His grading scale is a joke. Nearly impossible to get an A
